Thanks baby
My only complaint is that those tires are fvcking loud as hell. I don't know if it's because I need an alignment though....

INSTALL DAY
When: 230pm till whenver, tuesday may 31
Where: Chris' house
This tuesday, B and I will be swapping suspensions. We've both done it on our own a bunch of times, so it shouldn't end up taking too long. If anyone else needs anything done, or any advice on stuff.. come on out and we'll try to help.
I've got a two car garage, so, come no matter what the weather is (though its supposed to be no chance of rain tomorrow)
OH, one other thing... the rents dont want any painting in the garage (unless its with a brush)
lastly, does anyone have any of this stuff that b was telling me about over the phone 'never ¿sheath?' or something like that.... its something to apply to the threads on the coils to prevent damage. anyway, if anyone has it, i'll give you a beer to smear some of it on my coil.
if anyone needs directions just PM me
and yeah.. good times last night
i was completely drunk at 8pm.. walking around downtown.. haha

guys i can NOT get my spring off my strut. am i supposed to unscrew the big nut at the top of the strut? will that take the upper mount part off and the spring will just pop out?
how do i turn that nut without the whole upper mount turning?

thanks denny.. i'll go pick some up
premium.. be carefull when taking off that nut! yes, stepping on the spring is good and will also make the 'pop' a little less violent
just make sure that just before that nut comes off, the only thing you have infront of the upper mount is your socket wrench (held lightly in your hand).. i've seen those things pop off with pretty much no force, all the way to shooting a few feet across the lawn (so, just be aware).. but dont worry, you wont get hurt unless your face is right there (that is so long as you're doin this on a civic)

hmm.. not sure which is more compressed.. i think it may have been the fronts
in any case, neither of them are really bad
time change for tomorrow
b and i will be starting at 12, so anyone is welcome by after that

good god. i can only get one of them lol.
the rest are just on there...mind you, all im using is vice grips. i dont have a wrench that fits the nut. a ratchet might do the trick too, but i have no socket that fits over the nut.
may need to borrow someones tools =\

You might want to do this outside and away from your car/windows/anything fragile.

well i guess i didnt think i needed an allan key, cuz i dont even see where im supposed to put it.
and i couldnt find a wrench so i figured id just try vice grips, and it worked for one of them
where do i put the allan key?

look at the bolt that the big nut wrapps around on the top
in the top of the bolt is also a hole for the allen key if i remember right
once you're near the end things seem to become loose enough for you to not need the key so long as you're stepping on it
sorry man, i would have said so earlier.. it thought you were already doin that
if you just cant get it, drive over to my place tomrorow
