yeah i wouldnt mind lowering my car but i dont know if it will void my warrenty i fogot to ask about that. plust i just dropped like 500$ into my old sunfire last summer to lower it. i used the goldline pro kit ( aggresive spring ) in my sunfire. im must say i liked the handling but the ride went to the crapper it was bumpy as hell. whats the ride like with a lowered civic and what are the best springs to use.

Rep Power: 0 hahaha, yeah i've been there a few times in the last month, i'll be there again in a couple of weeks. Yeah, i haven't seen an EL in strath yet, let alone another 7thgen, it was nice to see yours. Are there any nice rides there?

Rep Power: 302 I've got H&R Sport springs with stock shocks and I don't mind the ride. Mind you, the drop is only like 1.3-1.5 but still. If you just throw springs on your car though, usually the ride blows so it's best to get new shocks as well. I dunno, I'm happy with my drop but wouldn't mind it a bit lower.

Rep Power: 370 I'm on Neuspeed Race springs 2.25" and 2.0" drop. The ride is bump and harsh. Gotta watch out for everything but I love the low look.

im dropped on neuspeed sports, and stock shocks...its a 1.75 front drop, and a 1.5 rear drop. its a subtle drop, but noticable...also the ride isnt too harsh. check out my pics in my profile if you wanna have a look

i am on neuspeed race...like denny said its harsh as hell,and you gotta watch out for bumps...i suggest to save up for ground controls..or even better some progress coilovers....its worth the money you spend.

Rep Power: 0 thanks for the ideas but i dont think i will be going with coil overs ive heard alot of horror stories about them. I might go with the 1.75 to 1.5 drop in the summer but i would like to get the full cat back exhaust system ( greddy evo2 ) and a ceramic coated header first ( not sure what to go with there ).
Im glad to be aboard so far its been a pretty informative site and I really look forward to the meets especially at the st thomas drag strip ( it is my second home during the summer ). If I so go with the springs i most deffinetly will be getting so aftermarket shocks.
