Yeah actually I went to crappy tire, and they said they didn't make the silverstars in an H4 model. Today I realized that the H4, and 9003 are the same bulb. Just different manufacturers label them differently. wtf!? I'm gonna go back and scoop up a pair. I've heard good things about those bulbs.

Anyways, no I haven't moved. Was just hibernating for the winter. But my whip's back out in full force! My next purchase will have to be tires though! I took a close look at them yesterday, and DAMN the fronts are bald! mwuhahahahaha! Think I might go with Kuhmo 712's this time around. What are you guys rollin on? And where are the good/cheap tired shops in town?

I'll see you guys on the streets!!

APRBoy...fyi...

DJRacingJosh just got banned from this site. Good luck in getting your space for the pulley.

cdmx dynoed his car and posting it in the DH pulley thread. It looks like it only made 1-2 whp rather than the promised "as much as 20 whp".

I think you got screwed out of ~$160

good meet lastnight boys, I had alot of fun and it was nice to meet and chill with you.

UPDATE: I didn't get my shifter **** off, and I didn't get my X-Brace on. So if anyone wants a brand new NEUSPEED X-Brace it will fit an LX or DX, NOT the Si. you can have to for $215, thats what i payed..and I'll install it for you

Is that the X-Brace that you were doing the GB on? Is there an X-Brace available for the Si (Ex)?

das, that is a crazy funny thread....its funny that ppl will fight about anything on the internet and have the ***** to say stupid things...but if they were face 2 face then i doubt they would say anything....

falcon, the car sounds sweet...i am pretty envious of the ride...tho i like it better minus the exhaust and res ...

Stop by my place sometime whenever you see me outside.
As for the tires... I heard the 712's are the best bang for the buck. A lot of people are running on them and seem to be happy. Also a really good tire is the Yoko Avid H4's. Long tread life and a excellent tire. I guess it all depends on how much you wanna spend... if money was no issue then I'd recommend the Bridgestone Potenza's.

As for the install day yesterday... I had a good time. Broken bolts, broken beer bottles, bolts being to short (lol), stupid creepy crawler (haha)... man.. too funny. To bad I had to leave early to go back to work.

As for the X-Brace... it's made to fit an DX/LX. Braden has the Si exhaust setup so it won't fit over his cat. converter.

I'm in the market for new tires now. I'm really hating the OEM that came with the car. However I want to keep 15"s on, the car is slow enough as it is. That being said, I agree with the Potenza's!!! The 950's...mmmmmm sweet. I might get those or the 712's.

What do you guys think? Were should I get the 712's, and were should get I get 950's?

btw, Braden, can I hold off on the phone till next month? Just bought my g/f some new furniture for her new place...and now I need to get tires.

btw, Bruno, I hope you don't get screwed on that pulley. cdmx just posted that his battery almost died because it wasn't getting charged!!! I'd get a refund if I could. Good luck buddy!

I should have researched crank pulleys more before I bought one anyway. They almost always result in bearing damage eventually. But DH sure are a bunch of scammers.
