OT: Help me move out, buy a computer!
Hahaha...
Seriously, this is a good time to buy a computer. Prices are just dropping week after week, and these days all-in-ones are no longer lame.
I've just built a comp for someone - P4 2.0 Asus mobo 256DDR 40GB HDD 16x DVD silver case black keybd mouse 3-pc speakers black for $950 all in... Delivered and setup. Anyone who knows the market knows 5 years ago systems of the same level (at technology 5 years ago) was more like $2000+...
Anyway, just a reminder to you that I am still dealing in this sh|t and if you need a system I will hook you up with a good deal.
Athlons are even cheaper these days and there's NForce2 for performance mobo.
PM me or Email to aaron@aysis.com, my ICQ is 3695311. The upgrade deals that I spoke of earlier are still on, will do your upgrades for you...

i posted up b4 but u never replied. well i'm looking for an ati radeon 8500, can u list the price for 64mb and 128mb also for the LE also. depending on the price of the difference memories i'll get the better deal one. if u don't got 8500 than look for 9000 pro watever is cheaper. thanks.
also how much for 128 and 256mb sdram?
wat do u think of athlon xp with sdram? i got an asus a7v133 mobo w/ tbird 1.333ghz but looking about xp with the same mobo. good gains with same board and sdram with xp from tbird? if so i probably take a low priced xp lil faster than what i got.
forgot to say, i want oem products.

As for RAM, my last price list (2 weeks, but will be similar price) $45 for 128 and $60 for 256 SDRam. I will charge RAM by the market rate, but don't worry, the ballpark is within $5 always.
As for SDRam, if you can be sure the A7V133 you have (consider the rev version too!) will support the XP processors, then SDRam will definitely still be good. The memory bus is seperate from the main chipset on most newer boards. Plus the A7V133 is a newer version of the A7V, should be ok.

If you want to build your own, simple. I hook you up with the parts, then we get together and build it togther!
Examples of cases I carry:
i kno the 8500 is technically being discounted. really its being renamed to 9200 because it out performs the 9000 by a bit. 9000 pro there should still be a hand full as best buy has a crap load of them. as for mobo i'm not looking for onboard video, what does the nf2 mobo has for video n e ways? also my mobo is xp compatible. whats the best bang for the buck xp rite now? is it 1800 before a big price hike to 1900?
heh.. u need people to buy stuff off u so u can move out?
hahaha... live at home and have more money

As for NF2, it's similar to an MX 460. Not amazing, but you get much better poccessor bus and dual DDR. Plus future AGP support.

Now. I can sell you an XP disc, i.e., Windows XP OEM with the system, and that would build into the system price, $150 for Home, $230 for Pro. Or, I can install, say, Linux on it, and you can take care of the OS.
Microsoft tried to make it a policy that if you plan to use Windows, the computer has to come with an OS, etc etc etc, but we all know how much we want to allow Microsoft to have that power!
So, that's my answer. I can either bundle Windows OEM, or I will put a "free" OS (or no OS, haha) on it. Since my business is legit (so that you have all the full warranty and stuff) I can't do anything under the table. That put aside. If you have some *ahem* legit software you want me to load on a system I sold, I will do it personally.
Is that retail version? I'm looking at the XP2100+...
Do you have any recommendations on CHEAP motherboards that support PC100/PC133 RAM? Im looking for something that I can use cheap RAM on. So far I'm looking at the ECS mobo K7S5A for $82!
Also, maybe someone else might know. How the heck do I find out what kind of RAM I have? I have 4 sticks of 128MB SDRAM, but I'm not sure if thye are PC133 or not... I know at least 1 is PC100, I'm not sure of the other 3....Is there any SOFTWARE that can determine this? Any distinguishing markings on the sticks?

I would recommend MSI or Chaintech for cheaper boards. If you want PC133 support, you can get the SiS or VIA chipsets, they'd be around $90. As for RAM speed, if it's not writen on the stick itself, it'd be hard to find out. I know how to look at the codes on the chip, but it's hella complicated. Software can't read BIOS info, and depending on the BIOS you might not be able to read it. Check for labels on the sticks themselves.

If there is a PC100 stick in there the BIOS will clock all the RAM as PC100, so SANDRA would read it as PC100. The benchmark will read the bus but not individual banks.

anyways. the videocard was for my older computer because the screen has gotten so dark its barely viewable. i was ready to buy it off u so i put my gf2mx200 (shitty card) into it and it is still dark, put my monitor into it and its bright again. so its the monitor that's dying, damn compaq. sorry for the trouble of pricing. i will be needing a higher clocked p3 soon i'll for sure get it off u. cya.
