"Grace" ticket affect insurace?

Got stopped running 140 on the 401, but the cop was nice and took it down to 110, $40 no points. Since it's no points that doesn't affect my insurance, right?

shouldnt be a huge increase if any, but a conviction for a traffic violation of any sort is most often grounds to increase insurance prices...particularly speeding tickets. but i wouldnt worry about it too much if it's your first one and you don't get any more after this...and if you've been with the company for a long period of time.

it will be on your MVR (motor vehicle record) for 3-6 years depending on the severity of the ticket - depends if you have 3 or more tickets - if you do it will effect your rates, if not , I doubt it will....

I don't think he clocked me on radar, and that's probably why he gave me a break. I'll probably just take it to court and if he shows up plead guilty. A ticket is still a ticket, plus I have a collision involved ticket too, need to fight...
