JRP is on Dixie rd. and Derry rd. (or around there...)
All right boys, you got me going now!
I purchased my kit from turbo performance out of Cali. The kit is completely custom. Right know they are having a couple problems with blitz and the people they get the turbo from. So I decided to only get the Intake manifold, exhaust manifold, intercooler, downpipe, and all the piping from them. So I still need to find a wastegate, bov, T3 turbo with 60 trim and I also have to figure out if I should convert my fuel system to return or just upgrade the return less one??? I am planning to get the Greddy Type S BOV, because it shoots the air back into the intake as oppose to releasing it into the atmosphere, to keep that sleeper impression. I am putting the kit on my car late Febuary or early March. That gives me plenty of time to tune it in time for race season. Also if I have any money left by the time the turbo us complete I would like to get a computer to control the car, either ALTECH or HONDA DATA. That would be so cool to have plus the car can be completely customized for different situations. I would have 4 different settings drag, cruise, emissions, and street. But that’s to far in the future. Anywoo as far as performance wise, I will have a boost control. By the looks of it for cruising I would have it at around 4psi and for racing about 10psi on stock internals. Now a company called ARIAS from the states is suppose to come out with pistons by spring so if they do I should be able to run 1 bar, easy. At 6psi the turbo should put out about 80hp at the wheels. 1 bar is 160hp at the wheels I predict while running a bar I should be running mid 13s in the 1/4 mile, 13.1 or 13.2 with some trix! If you guys have any question feel free to ask!
Ohh yah I am also going to get the nitrous N-TER COOLER by NX. The kit shoots nitrous through a tube that’s on the face on the intercooler and freezes it. Pretty cool hunh!

Last year I sat in the passenger's seat of a 1991 Porsche 911 Turbo. Absolutely INSANE. Mind you that's a 6-cylinder and it's a porsche, but at 3500RPM then engine explodes with power. You literally do get thrown back in your seat.
I'd love to see a civic running 14psi, but I think you'd need to do some serious work to the engine to run that high of a boost... (ie: MAD cash). Cool to have a sleeper, but at that point why wouldn't you buy a REAL sports car? I'm thinking being able to run 1 bar (ie: 14.7psi) of boost would easily set ya back $10K, probably more...
