Anyone ever installed their own HU?

Anyone? i have been asking around and different people tell me different things!.

One person said "hint: u don't have to remove the center counsel to take out your HU"

Response: Uh. this isn't a quiz. tell me how to do it instead of hinting

Another person said, just pull out the panel where the A/C Adapter is .

Response: tried today, it won't budge

So anyone know HOW TO install a head unit without removing the center??????

Thanks.

hey man i installed it myself...
dont read that DIY - i did that and took me like 2 hours...

you will see a little black box where the cig lighter is located....
pop that out and there will be 2 screws and VOILA!! done.... pull it out but becarefull as it is plastic!

once u install it-if u ever need to get your deck out... your deck should come with 2 little metal peices about 5" long which takes the deck right out!

about the harnesses-they're colour coated... follow them-about 2-3 wires u wont need....
the illumination and some other junk!

good luck if u havent done so already!
if u did... what a useless post to reply on!! haha
