wheel locks
i was looking for a set of wheel locks...
what's the dif between those $30 sets and $70 sets?
i was looking at these $30 ones sold at crappy tire....
crappy tire also sells these ones that cost $119
$70ish ones are sold at dealerships....
how many key combinations are there for those cheap locks?
what's the dif?
what kind do you recommend?

Rep Power: 0 from what i found out when i was looking for mine was, the dealer sold exactly the same brand as cantire, but almost double the price. therefore i went with the ones at cantire and have had no problems since. i did come across a set that had a similar lock patern, but when we tested it, found out that the subtle differences do make a big difference!

wheel locks will only be good for amateur theives. if i have tools to get any wheel lock off without the lock than i'm sure that most thieves have the proper tools too. the only thing you can do is put a couple sets of locks on and hope to frustrate the thief before your wheels are gone

i don't think i'll bother though cause i don't think professional thieves would bother stealing oem Si rims...
i just want to prevent loser 16 yr olds from jacking my rims for use on their DX models..haha
btw, crappy tire also said those locks are the same ones the honda dealers use..hehe
anyways, i've paid for a $30 set from crappy tire..it's on backorder...i have to wait until they arrive...
