Asian Student Games (ASG) SAT 10/12/02
The Asian Student Games (ASG) is Canada's largest annual athletic event uniting young professionals and university students together for the main purpose of promoting goodwill and unity within the Asian community. ASG provides its participants with an opportunity to play sports in a relaxed and recreational setting. Organizations compete in numerous sports and activities throughout the day, with an emphasis on team spirit and participation.
Saturday October 12 2002 9am-6pm @ centennial college in scarborough (markham road/401)
This is a great way to meet new people, and Get Active. So come out and join in the fun and games!!
Asian FOCUS will be sending 3 teams in total!!!!

Here are some of the games being played at the event:
games confirmed and being played are:
- basketball, volleyball, badminton
- dodgeball, floor hockey, team chess
- team big2, team slaphands, team cheer,
- survivor, ping-pong challenge, obstacle course
There is also a food drive at ASG which gives your team points as well.
In the morning ASG will be running a series of icebreaker games that results in prizes as well.
The banquet is the following day on october 13th and will also have a few games that count as points for the overall competition...
- DanceDance Revolution (possibly Britney Spears version...)
- Show Me
- Lip Sync competition.

Britney Spears - Hit Me One More Time
Milli Vanilli - Girl You Know It's True
Guns n' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle
Aqua - Barbie Girl
You are encouraged to bring props and costumes for the lip synch contest...
