OIL CHANGE - 5K - Recommend in GTA?
Do I need to go to a Honda dealer to get it done for the first change [approaching 5000 km] ?
How much should I expect from a dealer, or recommend any non-dealer garages in GTA? How's Canadian Tire? Speedy?

Rep Power: 0 I heard that there's special break-in oil that Honda has put in our engines... therefor, you have to wait til' you hit 8000kms for your FIRST oil change. Right now, I haven't changed mine yet... and I'm at 6264kms. But I will be getting mine done at Honda, cuz they have the 5W20 Grade motor oil. I don't know how much that would cost tho... cuz I have lifetime oil changes with Honda.

Rep Power: 0 32.50 if i remember correctly and its with fluid top off. but you can go to any other dealership, not recommended if you're leasing though....but get receipts if you're going to and outside garage....

Rep Power: 0 I'll brag again, Action Honda had $250 lifetime oil-change deal. Every ~6000km (I usually go at 5800km or less) or 4 months, which ever comes first, I get an oil-change... Pays back itself at 48000 or so.

Rep Power: 0 i just got mine done today....... it was 28.33 plus tax.... came out to be like 33.48...... i was told to do the first oil change at atleast 8000 km becuase honda put a special additvie in for the break in period....... i was told this by a honda technician friend......... after this first 8000 km, i'll probably be doing an oil change every 4000 or so........ and if you get the receipts for the oil change with kms noted, it's the same as bringing it back to the dealer....... hope this helps...

my dealership is f'ucked up and told me to get it changed every 3months at the price of $50 each time...
how many months/KM is it really supposed to be? i don't drive much so I'll have to count months...
