WTB: OEM ~style fogs

GRrrrrr, was gonna order from procarparts and take a chance, but nooooo, they won't accept Canadian VISA coz can't "verify address" so I can only pay AE (which no one uses up here) or send Int'l money order (risky)...

Before I go on and through the trouble of doing the money order, wanna see if anyone else here has had luck or know where to get them in TO.

Gusto is looking for them for me, but he sounded unsure about the wired kind. I'm very iffy about the wireless one, just want it to be completely *mounted* on the car with the wiring etc.

I might just say f* it and get the OEM Honda ones, but even lowest price is $223US + shipping which will end up to be $450 or so CDN with install... Too much! If anyone wants to sell there's I'd buy a used set too, at a reasonable price.

Plz someone shed some light upon me!

The aftermarket OE-style foglights are great. There is nothing wrong with them.
They mount the exactly the same way. You can barely tell the difference until you show the remote for the wireless activation.

I've heard good comments on them, yeah, but it just doesn't feel right to not have full-wiring for such an integral item... I wouldn't know where to best put the remote and probably will lose it. Hahaa...

Anyway, I will go with the wired replica as first choice until it becomes hopeless.

Huh??The wiring is all there for the wireless EO-style foglights tho.
All the wiring is there. It is quite simple. The only difference between the OE and OE-style is the activation method.
The OE uses a button and the OE-style uses a remote.
Its like if you had your OE PS2 controller connected to your PS2 console and an aftermarket wireless one connected in the other controller port. The wiring is all there for the PS2, its just the way you play the game with the controller it is different (wire or wireless).
What's there to be afraid of?
Where do you keep the remote? simple, just mount it somewhere on the dash or keep it as a keychain...you won't lose it then...unless you lose your keys a lot....

Haha, ok... I guess the next question is, if I lose the remote, can it be replaced?

I would mount it, but what about the battery on the remote?

I still feel alot safer about a mounted io switch...

I did, he was talking about getting more in, I wasn't sure if he meant he needs to order them or he needs to do a group buy.

Msg'ed him back last night haven't heard from him yet. He gave me a price that was good too, so I'm just playing the waiting game at this point.

Ok, I got Keigo and Gusto looking into these for me, but still no word back from them yet. Anyone else has any ties? I'm actually in no rush, just anxious.
