Gas Mileage Challenge......

Hello Guys,
Since our car aren't that fast we don't have much to brag about with speed. But lets see who can get the best milage on 1 tank of gas......
I'll start off and people can follow if they want.

2001 Civic si
5 spd
Mods that would affect milage: Exhaust rear section only
Most mileage on 1 tank: 642 kms
How much left in tank on fill up: 11 L

Have fun

My car rides like sh|t for mileage, coz I drive D/T. I usually have to fillup around 480km and around 36L or so... What's the size of the tank?

Calculate your KM/L.....

Car: 2001 Acura EL, Auto, no engine mods
driving style: 90% highway

I get: 6.25L / 100km....

Pretty close to the advertised mileage

after driving 100km after initial fill up, i filled the tank back to full...it took 10L to fill up the tank...=(

that's way off from the advertised gas milage....i don't drive the car hard either...i also let the car roll on hills and don't drive much faster than speed limit...(usually around 60km/h on city streets)

maybe i keep using up too much power cause i turn the system up..hehe

Eh, I never really fill up last minute due to the distance I'm required to drive everyday... really sketchy business... so, who won this challenge anyways? Any car pushing thereafter?

732km's
Downhill highway driving on my road trip to NS
87 Octane Corner store gas (unsure of brand)

when I refilled the tank I put in 43.4L of gas ..

Normally I get 500km/tank and refill about 36-38l..Or if it's city driving with my sound system pretty cranked..it's terrible.. about 300km/tank

Gotta love H/O Alternators//

I've gotten about 530 kms - 540 kms... and that's using Sunoco Plus 89.5 Octane, and seldomly using the A/C.

I'm almost empty right now... but the light hasn't come on yet! I'm trying to hang on for a lil' while longer until the gas prices go down. 73.5 is crazy!!! I'll post again after I fill the tank then run it down again. BTW, how many kms do you have left of driving after the fuel light comes on?

Haha, I doubt anyone would try and find that out... So ghetto to run out of gas and have to hike to a gas station... I've seen ppl do that on the DVP when gas prices were 79 and such.
