SECOND IMPRESSION
Ok, now that I've had some time in the car, on local and highway, got a much better handle on what the CAI feels like.
First of all, it was quite funny when I first turned on A/C today... ECU was probably still adjusting air flow, I had nothing on A/C for 5 seconds, then some intermittent flow, then boom, lots and lots of cold air came in. Guess I still had to train the car after wiping it's memory, LOL.
Anyway, back on topic. I do notice a bit of loss pull on startup, but nothing that can't be solved by a bit of flooring (not entirely, just pumping it a bit more than before), to get the start that I used to have on stock... Albeit I won't be burning rubber on 1st (haha, didn't think I can before anyway). But as soon as it went into 2-3000k, the fun starts. Most of today, though, I drove trying to keep the noise down (hahaha) and surprisingly noticed the car riding way smoother! Revs are actually less at given points. I was cruising at 60 at 1.7k, and 80 at 2k, 100 at 2.3k... But as soon as I abandon the politeness and gun it, the car pulled up front real fast. Wasn't the "drag" kinda pull you'd get from a domestic, but the smooth but speedy VTEC acceleration (or so I hope, haha)... It was impossible to stay within speed limits (or even CLOSE to), just felt like giving it more and more and more and more gas!
Ok, all fine and dandy, until I decided to just let it all out. Sound is great, hums like a generator, but it feels like it's getting stuck somewhere. There's definitely lots of air going into the engine and the engine's doing it's work, but it felt like there's something restricting the car from getting more power. I'd hope it's not just the crappy effortless design, but that it's the limiting header/cat that's not letting air out fast enough. I guess I'll know about that next year when 4-1 and cat gets installed!
Oh, and as for the signal/high beam problems, the signal problem happened twice this morning but seemed to have gone away for now, and the high beam was just the Xenon bulb burning out, taking out the whole DRL circuit. Swapped stock bulbs back in for now.

hahaa
thats kinda dumb cuz next year is time for emission's for us. so if u get the HP racing header and cat ur failing the emission's for sure unless u spend 200 to buy one. ive say wait till u do ur emissions before u put the 4-1HP header

in a nutshell, they basically check to make sure that your car is not hurting the environment too much.
Smog, CO2, all sorts of crap that the car lets out while you drive...

not really sure about all that stuff but all I know is the catalytic converter is the most crucial part of the emissions testing, DO NOT GET IT REMOVED... Perhaps someone can shine some light into this issue.

I'm lovin' this thing more and more. Really can't notice the loss at the low end, but everything got boosted beyond that. 2nd gear now shifts to 3rd at 70 instead of 60 like before, but I can actually let it drop down to 60 to run the car at 1.6k, which is very good on gas. I'm gonna let the car use up the gas till the light comes on this time to see how much I can go, usually I fill whenever it's cheap. Will be letting you guys know how much k in a tank.

Boo, I have AT so every performance mod is as exciting as getting a Turbo. HAHAHAHA........
Plus, gotta justify spending $330, even if it's pretending it's faster to myself.
