OT: OW another scratch!!
F**K.
Minding my own business, driving down King, under a Go Train bridge.
SPLAT!!
A train was on top of the bridge and caused PEBBLES to fall, right in the spanking middle of my hood.
<SIGH> It's not huge, but it's a bunch of little scratches to the bone... Gonna have to spend an hour using touch up paint................
Just don't understand why things like this happen to me, I must be jinxed in terms of the car!!!!

Anyone have a good method of touching up nasty scratches? Or just good old dab-with-touchup-paint?

no magic tricks for you this time unfortunately...
the main thing is time and patience, put on a coat, let it dry, then do it again as necessary... oh and don't use the applicator they give you, go out and get a decent brush... otherwise it'll just look sloppy...

what are you? Scratch and dent prone? Sorry to hear dude. I'd burn that rock that scratched my car if it was to happen to me. You never know, it might have some sense of feeling too.

Msoft you should try using that Turtle Wax Chip Stick Colour match wax.
Definitely use touch up paint first but the Chip stick worked wonders on all the stone chips that I had on my Blue Jetta. It just fills in any of the scratches or chips and makes it lood pretty nice.
