i know, i know, never cut your springs, but only tell me that if you've actually done it and failed miserably.....i think the springs i have, (sprint) have one dead coil up-front, but most people that i think will give me an honest answer just try to sell me sleeve-type coilovers, without really answering my question, pls, only answer if you know what your talking about, ive heard the rest..... so what are u asking? are u asking about getting coilovres or do u have them? or trying to fix the ones u have? or did u cut your stock springs?
my frineds shop does mods to cars, and 3 people in cavaliers who were/ are cheap decided they'de lower their car the cheap mans way... my friend cut their stock springs and he's doen this on 3 cavaliers...its not a good idea but can be done....and the actaul process they didnt fail on doing!! but the ride sucks....and its obviously wrecked the car

You've just have to be careful at 2 critical times, 1 when your are lowering the car back down....make sure the springs are in place and 2 that you take it easy while driving or else yer springs will pop out for sure.....so just be careful

it's got nothing to do with money, it's just an ideal that iam playing around with......iam just curiouse, the 2.0 drop i have is great, it's settled down to a nice looking ride height, the car handles much better than stock, and the ride is still excellent, like i said in my original post, if you don't know much (OR ANYTHING) about cutting springs then move on to the next thread.......

remember for springs u have is the lowest springs u could possiblely get in the market...so if u want to go lower then coilover is the only solution
