OT: sub box is done..

box is done..
finished the box and installing of the subs..
now just need to finish up wiring it up and getting it in my car [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]
course that'll take cash i ain't quite got together yet..
might as well do the deck as well, and since i can't use my MBQuartz (3 piece seperates) i'll have to get new speakers too..
uugghhhh..so much to do and so little money......
any women out there looking for a man-bitch??

like i said guys, this was my first i'm REALLY new to this..
all my figuring and drawing was done by hand

Machina, if you know the specs for the subs (do you want ported or enclosed) it's easy..
mine were 2 cubic feet per sub ported so i took 12"x12"x24" and doubled it..then just did the math to accomodate the size i had in the back of the car..
12"x18"x32"
but ya, if you can find out the specs on each sub, lemme know and i'll figure it out (seeing as you have the same car it'll be easy)
ya want 1/2" or 3/4" MDF??

nah..the subs and ports are from the old box that was in my pickup..
the shop that built it at the time should have used spec MTX sizes, so all should be good if i used them too..
and if there are any slighties that need to be done, i'll just stuff it a tad..

and i still have a 18"x48" piece left over that i have to use for a desk upstairs..
add 1/4 can of paint (basic cheapie latex..$20 a can breaks down to $5..and i did use 5 coats on it..)
the rest is just labor and electricity..
so it cost me about $50 tops..
