Where/what security system to get in TO?

Where/what security system to get in TO?
I've just got a new job (WHOOOOHOO!) and am looking into a security system for my EL.
Anyone have any suggestions on what brand to get, WHERE to get it from? I'm really interested in the remote pager thing now, but hear rotten things about the CompuStar things. Are there any other brands that are offered in Canada/TO with remote?
I've always liked Clifford alot, and recommend them, but now I'm starting to like the pager thing so much, and they don't offer that.....
For those who hate CompuStar, WHY is it bad? I'm sorta confused, as people complain about it but don't say much as to why. I did read some posts saying that it's merely auto unlock more than anything [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

you can get any alarm, but you have to get it installed by a pro....they know how to wire things so that its FOOL proof!

Rep Power: 0 u know wut i heard... ppl who steals cars are the ppl who set up the alarms... i mean.. look at it this way.. they wire ur car so that it will be impossible to by pass the alarm.. no one knows how the alarm is wired up except for the peeps who set it up... obviously they know how to bypass the alarm with little hassle... just a heads up...... but i will go for the viper alarm.....

Im gonna pick up the viper with the PROXIMITY detector... so it beeps when your too close to it... muah ahhahahaha now thats evil...
I already got quoted $500 for it... but since this pager thing is out I'll see if it has the proximity too

I took at look at the Viper pager, and it looks tacky. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] I mean, I've seen the CompuStar one, and it looks alright.
What do you guys think about the following TWO?

- Inspector 2000 http://www.car-alarms-accessories.com/inspector_2000.htm ($349USD!)
Now, I'm not even sure if I can get them in Canada. I emailed the Inspector people, and they don't have any distributors in Canada, so I'd have to buy it myself, then bring it into my local dealer to install it for me.
I just LOVE the look of the Inspector pager, looks like a cute little cell phone [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
That AutoPage USA 750 model has like 3 buttons, plus another 5 on the side.... I'm thinking of that one, assuming it's no more than $550CDN..... Any opinions?

Can I get a hood pin (alarm) to go with it?
I'm unsure whether to get the CompuStar, the AutoPage (looks similar to CompuStar), or the ghetto CompuStar lookalike, that's alot cheaper: MagiCar...
