Shell Canada gasoline additive gumming up fuel tanks?

Any of you people hear this story recently? Apparently Shell Canada has been putting in these additives in their gas, and it's been affecting quite a few cars out there. It affects fuel gauges and pumps.

Shell crap

Funny thing is, most of the affected cars have been new or very recent Chryslers. Shell is now trying to compensate affected consumers with free gas or free Air Miles (no joke) .

Damn, hope this doesn't affect our cars. This is the last freaking time I use Shell gas
