Killed a Suzuki... But Got Raped By a Yamaha
I have an Auto LX.. it's quicker than what I thought... so sometimes I'd race.. but recently I stopped ever since I got new rims. It is PIG SLOW now... ugh...
Tonight, this jabroni in a Suzuki Swift pulls up beside me at the lights.. it was all souped up, slammed, rims, exhaust, prolly intake... and the engine sounded MEAN... I know the Suzuki Swifts are quick cars, given the right driver, since they don't weigh anything. Anyway, this guy started to rev his engine... I was gonna chicken out (who wants to give him the satisfaction of beating a 2001 car?).. but I went anyway... and I beat his *** hahaha... way too funny... so I pulled up beside him, and asked him if it was a GTI.. he says Yeah... so I replied "Well, you just got beat by an automatic civic LX!" On the way home, this Harley Davidson lookin bike pulled up beside me... thought it was a Harley anyway. Feeling frisky, I punched it off the line... tires chirpped a bit, and off I went.. but almost immediately I got raped. Hard! Harder than any Harley is capable of raping.. he had these cool LED brake lights on the back too. So I asked him what it was, he said a "Warrior".. a Yamaha Warrior. 1st one in Canada, apparently. He said it was 1700cc.......... I was like.. wow.. that's a big engine for a bike...
Then when I got home, it hit me--his engine on his bike was the same size as the one in my car!
against 2000 Civics, he actually has a 100cc displacement advantage! Those crazy Yamahas...

Rep Power: 0 I beat one before... but I remember this one guy... totally stock.. class A driver though.. and let me just tell you--DAMN, IT WAS FAST! I was like holy $HIT!! There's turbo versions too I believe... under Pontiac badage.. dubbed Firefly Turbo. Don't mess with those... the shame of losing to a smartie car... [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]
