where to get tint? how dark? CanEast group tint?

where to get tint? how dark? CanEast group tint?
Is there enough people WITHOUT tint warranting a "group buy"? The sucky part is that if it's not an "inside" hookup, ALL the cars would have to be there at the same time, which would mean the last unlucky dude would be waiting like 12 hrs for his car back.
Can anyone give suggestions for tinting shops? I'm looking to tint my 1.7 EL. I'm looking at 35% or the next darker thing, all around, plus top banner on the front window.
(I think 35% is the legal limit for the front windows... I want all my tints to be the same darkness, except MAYBE the front banner).
I went to a Ziebart at Bathurst/Finch in Toronto, and I was quoted $229 + tax for some tint! It only had 3 yr warranty on it too! The 'better' stuff was some sort of metalized tint. It was not MIRROR tint, but it costs $50 more, 5 layers.... NEITHER of the tints were Llumar. He said he used Llumar before, but has exclusively begun using this new stuff....
Also...
- With or without brake light cutout? (I don't have spoiler). It looks sorta weird with the cutout, but most places charge extra to remove your rear deck to do it.
- the top edges of your tinted windows... Did they tint it RIGHT UP TO THE VERY EDGE, or did they leave a 0.5cm edge of no tint? I saw them at Ziebart tint a Corvette, and they left an edge....looked a tad weird. But then again, I'm afraid a full tint to the edge might make it easier to peel.
Does anyone have problems with SEEING at night, with the lighter tints? (35%, and whatever's the next level up after 35%). I have really bad night vision. One of the reasons why I haven't tinted yet. But it's DAMN hot today....

Rep Power: 0 BTW: I would REALLY appreciate if anyone with tints could take a picture of their car....
- a re gular pic of your car with tints
- a pic with your hand "behind the window" (to see how translucent it is)
- taking a picture OUT of a window, from in the car, thru a tinted side window (or rear)....
Preferably at night of course [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] It would of course be tough to see the results without seeing it in person, but alas.....
