pwr steering
i just like the feel of a car with out it...u can feel the road better u know. i dont wanna do it for power i just wanna do it for control. my last car didn't have it and i loved it. but my last car was also alot smaller so im wondering if my car is to heavy which in turn will make driving a pain in the ***.

its been done, and theres a way to set it up with some breather or something. i remember there was a right way to do it without just cutting the belt. its just really hard to turn the wheel at low speeds. but i agree stock is way too loose i can turn the wheel with my pinkey.
ya thats what i dont like i feel like i have no control over the car. u cant really feel the road or how the car is handling it. i to can turn my wheel with my pinky lol. i drove an rx7 the other day with no power steering and i wish i hadn't cause now i remember how much i like it. but with the 7thgens is it a pain in the *** to drive with it out? my old 90 civic didn't have it but it was light so it wasn't that bad. the rx7 was heavier and was a bit difficult. how would the 7th gen be?
you can feel a little bit of power gain. But on the 7th gen the wheel is ALOT harder to turn compared to an EF, EG, EK without pwr steering.
its comparable to having a prelude without powersteering.
you can setup a breather system so that its not as tough.
don't cut the belt...take it off and see if u like it better...its really really harsh though...took me a while to get used to it.

A car that originally didn't come with power steering won't drive the same as a car that did have power steering but was removed.
It's not good for the steering components to drive without it if it originally had power.

I've had all sorts of power steering problems. Pump, pulley and all lines were replaced recently and that solved the problems. While the power steering was not working, the car was so hard to turn at low speeds... not like my old 1988 civic... this was damn harder!
