Shifty rocks
Was out in Hamilton today to install a friend's CAI and HID's but we lost each others' numbers and I got lost following his directions (plus his house was not on my 2004 version of MapMonkey). Anyhoo, was tooling around and called up Shifty, whose house I was supposed to drop by later on for help with brakes. I show up and he's popping tuan's suspension cherry, so I picked up a wrench and a couple hours later tuan's slammed with a bodykit. Very nice. We worked till almost 10pm replacing my brakes, due to a seized slider, having to screw down a piston, and general bad luck with my car. But I have to say the man lives in a nice house and knows his brakes and suspension. Thanks for all the help bud, you'll be hearing from me soon for a brake line change.

Holy crap these brakes are great! I was dragging a little in the right rear but I hadn't really hit the brakes much all day and night. It's stopped now, I think, cause no more squeaks at full stops. I'm really worried about the slider up front, stupid torn boot. Probably happened when I was fuqqing around in there with a suspension install or something. Other than all that the brakes are super quiet, and pedal feel has improved slightly - at least it doesn't go as far down anymore.
Got stainless brake lines and 2 bottles of Motul DOT5.1 fluid ready to go in next weekend. Hopefully we'll be able to replace that slider too. Stupid slider.

I have the same problem too... my brake pedal goes so far down before it actually grabs. Everytime I get into a different car i always end up slamming the brakes by accident.
Let me know if the SS brake lines and new fluid help.

HAHAH thanks for the kind words Telly! Im just sorry that we didnt have time to put your stainless lines in but we'll get that done soon. I got your text about the slider and boot kit, looks like honda raped us again. I am in the process of getting a bench vice just for ur damn seized slider...we'll be yanking at it all of next week....lol
Im glad you are enjoying the brakes, btw the woman doesn't believe that the reason my wrists hurt were because of screwing your rear brake piston in.....she thought i was playing with myself....lol
you love it and you know it, ill try to use more anti-seize compound next time

HAHA id be down for that!!! we can add that to the itenerary (sp?) for the ottawa cruise
hmm all we need is to find an asian strip club and the experience would be complete for Big and Peasey....lol
