Hmmm...shitty dude....well It depends on I think two things....where you baught all the stuff and where you got it installed...and how you paid for it....so I guess three things....If this works....go to there you baught all the goods...and well if you did it by credit card or debit...they will have transaction records...and well you have picture ID and well then you can verify the card being yours.....Also If you did that at a installation place you can do the same thing...they have to keep like records of there **** for like 3 years...for IRS reasons...I think.....and well depending on how you paid for it....Go to the bank..and well they have records...of how you paid for it...and well when and how much....But if you paid cash and well have no recite......you SOL Mabey this may have helped...thats all I can think to do...3 options..hope one works...

sorry to hear, i have nothing to add. where was it broken into? post what parts were stolen, like part numbers model numbers and if ppl on this site ever come across newly installed pieces like that used or damaged or whatever we can let you know. keep an eye out. like an anti theft ring or somethin...

you may want to think about getting a compustar alarm next, i know no one wants my civic sedan, but at least they will want the parts and stuff, so if anyone breaks a window or anything or tries to tow my car, my alarm will alert my pager and i'll run like a mad man

Sorry to hear, man. I think Asianpride has some good suggestions. If you could drudge up some paperwork for what items were stolen, it will make your insurance claim easier. If you bought from reputable places, they should have some copy of the transaction. Good luck.

it was broken into right in front of my house...
stupid thing is.. i was supposed to get a compustar alarm, been talking about it for a while (w/ boohahha), but i never did... i still plan to, but it's a little late now.
i filed a police report, and made an insurance claim.... my deck is aight (i got all the receipts and manuals and stuff)... but if any of you have a kenwood amp 600w some type of proof of purchase would be greatly appreciated. i might actually be able to prove that, i just had it repaired and i called the shop that fixed it and they said they'd write me up some receipts or something. any chance any of u have 2 MTX 10" subs?... i know it's pretty unlikely that any of you have the same stuff as me, but i guess it's worth a try.

thanks guys.

How much does a compustar go for Is it the one where you can knock on the top corner of the windshield and it will page the owner of the car??>

Who's your insurance company? Most companies will pay for your stuff (minus deductible) if you've got proof of ownership and after an inspection at one of their approved specialists. Can't remember but I think you've also got to get a police report.

Got $1200 back once after my old civ got broken into. All aftermarket equipment.

after installing a system in your car, deck amps subs whatever , the only way that you can get most of your money back if they are stolen, is if you go to your
insurance company with a private apraisial, or if they apraise your system for you. Sadly what they quote the worth at is always lower than its true worth but at least
its something.

325 for alarm
160 for install
so if somehow you could get super cheap install, then this alarm is super cheap,
its one of the best or the best pager alarms

Damn, that really sucks. My insurance will cover me up to $1800 without having to notify them each time something is added. I keep photo's of the equipment too to help prove the stuff was really there.

You've got to have some solid proof you had them or you get squat from them.
