Rep Power: 0 Oil Change with lowered car? Honda?
I usually go to Castle Honda but recently lowered my civic, was wondering if they can put my car on a lift without any problems?
If not, whats a good place to get an oil change done with a lowered car, I'm thinking one of those places where they have those underground pits. Anyone know of any places in that area?

Rep Power: 0 It depends on the hoist that they use. Where I live the honda dealer in Niagara falls cannot service my car but the one in Welland still has one old style hoist left and they can lift it no problem.

Rep Power: 0 i always thought they don't use a hoist for oil change.... because at penzoil they would have a pit in the ground and change the oil with the car bein on top of the pit, so that way it doesn't matter how low the car is??? sorry for being confusing because i'm confused myself aswell

Rep Power: 0 Most Honda will do it.. but Honda costs too much. Just go to Costco like I do.. $21.99 for an oil change of 5W20.
I don't care if you freaks out there say why go to Costco.. because oil is oil.. and my car hasn't broken down. And they use Quaker State.
Save yourself the hassle of Honda... save yourself $10+ tax and disposal fee... and go to Costco or something. Honda.. what a rip-off.

For all you people that wonder.. ya.. I use to go to Honda EVERY oil change.. That's right.. every one.. except for the last 2.

and for your info i;de ask to see the hoist they are putting it on... i was told my car would fit on the hoist, it was the ramp drive up one kinds and as soon as my car got a little on the ramp i watched my back bumper scrape......

Rep Power: 0 my car is lowered. 1.5 to 2 finger gap. the place i go to... my car wont fit on the hoist directly... but they just jack it up slightly from the back.. and the hoist legs will fit right underneath... no biggie.
i've been using synthetic oil changes for the past two years now... at least.... cost me double then non synthetic
