The coupe has 6by9's and the pionieer. I dont know what the sedan has.......maybe the same?I dont see them being different

Anyways, I have an 03 Coupe and my front speakers are Component 6 1/2 and the rears are 6x9's.

Coupes are 6.5's in the front.. 6x9 in the rear

Sedan are 6.5's all around

some speakers that ARE those sizes will not fit because of mounting depth however

Check out the ICE forum on this board.. they know audio the best

yeah... although the size is 6.5" in front, u need to cut sheet metal in order to get some speakers to fit. however 5.25 inch speakers fit with out modification, but i prefer the sound of a 6.5.

you can also buy kick panels made for our cars that will fit REALLY deep 6.5's

(wont work in a manual cause of the clutch pedal)

I won't put a 5 1/4 in our front doors.. the area created around your speaker can cause shittyness in sound...

Just buy a spacer... 1" and your speaker will seal properly because it's the right size.
