Racism?
Just a little rant, after a little arguement at a gas station.
Long story short, a guy tried to butt in line, BUT _ I _ ended up pumping gas as I was in line next.
He quickly threw some foul words infront of his daughter and wife, to which I retaliated with a few witty comebacks myself. To his suprise, he ran out of things to say and froze,.. so as a last resort I guess, out of no where called me a name, lets say its the worst name you can call an asian guy.
I looked at his daughter and asked her, do you hear what your father is saying? He's a racist. Your father is a racist. She quickly defended him and said, Yea he is and I'm proud of it.
I wanted to go into my car and get the club which locks my steering wheel and lose my fvcking mind on his face, but my girl was waiting in the car, and we were at a busy gas station with cameras, plus I have better sense than that. I'm not good dealing with ignorance, all I want to do is get violent. Thanks for listening , as I vent.

yeah its pretty pathetic in this day and age when ppl have to resort to name calling...especially when it comes to younger raced people. I mean he isn't gonna claim like it was his wrong doing..and his family knows him well enough to know that he is a racist..so his daughter just backed him up and obviously she has a good future in the racism industry...i am glad you didn't do anything to brash..cause you would have gotten the brunt of the punishment if the 5-0 showed up..and you would have been another % to add to the 'race crime' statistic...because the media(news) always has to back up their fellow white members....or so it seems most days....The only thing you could have done is what you actually did and give him some witty comments and be on with your day and know that karma is a bitch..and when he goes on vacation to a foreign country that something bad will happen to him....hopefully

man... I would have lost it. Honestly I would have probably atleast punched him in the face. Fvck that pisses me off!!!!
I once stopped my car on the onramp of a highway and held up traffic because some guy behind me gave me the finger for no god damn reason then started tailgating me!
I got out of my car and was yelling at him to get out of his car so I can kick his ***.
seriously... this was just the finger... if someone said some racist **** to me and was serious (as in not joking), I would destroy their face.
Honestly Dave... I commend you for not loosing your cool.

good for you man, i woulda done the same thing! I would have also likely mocked the guy for kicks while my girlfriend ducked in my car saying "i dont know him!" (she hates when i confront dumb drivers/stupid ppl in general cuz although she admits im correct in doing so, she gets embarassed easily... NOT ME!

I hate to say it being white but lotsa white guys deserve it. I hate sexist **** as well. I am a bit of a sexist...**** I'm almost 50 but not when it comes to jobs, hiring, or anything like that. Rep Power: 0 Good job man, you handled the situation very well. IMO, you did the right thing by walking away, someone as ignorant and stupid as that guy (and his family for that matter it seems) aren't worth your time.
damn... like most, i would of lost it.
i've been called a ch**k three times while driving... while all the time.. i did nothing wrong as i honk at them for doing something illegal and putting me at danger...
for ex. which happened a few months ago, right after an intersection on the danforth, a car in front of me puts on his "left turn signal" on the left lane... with no intersection in sight.... he then starts to slowly merge into the right lane, while his "left turn signal was still on" ..... so i honked at him.. b/c i didnt know whta the f**k he was doing.... as i didnt want him to turn into me while i drive pass him.
he then tells me to f**k off.. i then stop my car abruptly, and said.. wtf is your problem.. and said to him why the hell do you have your left signal on.. learn to f**king drive.... he replied back, "i drive like all f**king ch**ks"
right there and then, i lost it... told him to get out of the car and lets do it... had a damn bar ready to pound him. lol... i mean, i really lost it... mind that im only 5'9 150lbs... this guy was 5'11, 200lbs... italian.. so he was huge.... he saw what i was holding.. and i just asked him, "you mind repeating what you said a minute ago?" ... he just started to talk sh*t but didnt say the C word again.. then got in his car and kept talking more sh*t...
i then said, "so, you work for the ttc?" ........ b/c he had a parking permit for the ttc, ... then then said, "ya.. you be careful.. im gonna be after you and flashed his parking permit in front of my face" ... i laughed at him and just left
honestly, if it comes down to it... dont care how big the other person is.. if racism becomes the topic... with the C word being used... that guy is going down.
if anything.. somehow get that other person to make the "first move"
but for next time.. i'll try what bigE19 suggested.

on a broader note... in a way, EVERYBODY is racist in a way....... but the better/good/decent (whatever word you wanna use) ppl dont use racism if something bad occurs... b/c morally, it's not right.
