Another rant - vandalism this time
So I'm parked at a clients and I park kinda out away form other cars because I'm afraid of door dings, fender benders etc.
So I come out to lunch today and there is a big rock sitting on the ground next to the driver door. So immediately im concerned b/c I know that wasn't there when I left. I hit the unlock and I get 6 chirps (meaning my alarm went off). So now im really nervous. Then I see it and my heart sinks. A dent and 3 deep scratches. My guess is someone threw it. Its too big to have been thrown out by a lawn mover or something.
SO basically Im pissed off now b/c I love my car and someone else hated it enough to throw a rock at it. The damage isnt that bad but I'm still upset about it.

ohh jer....
can't you tell them what happened and stuff? do they have insurance for their parking space or can they find out who did it??
don't worry! at least it is little nothing fatal or severe! Jus need some new pain and undenting!!
tomorrow at the show we will put a mini tree in front of it so no one sees
Sorry to hear, I know I'd be pissed in the same case. Unfortunately, always going to be haters out there 
last week, someone tried to jack up my car (foolishly since I have lock nuts + alarm / tilt sensor) the thing is, they jacked it in the wrong spot. THEY MISSED THE JACK POINT! HOW AMATEUR IS THAT? These guys didnt even have cinder blocks with them so I dont know what they were planning to do if they got a wheel off. So now theres a huge hole in my car and the floor board of my passenger side has a dimple in it.
to top it off, when they set off my alarm and it paged me they keyed 2 panels when they saw me come out. We saw the guys who did it (middle age people) and got the plates of the car they were driving.
Police are investigating the matter, cops a nice guy and said he would do his best to lay a charge but if they dont lay criminal charges ill probably just file a small claims suit for the deductable and perhaps for the extra paint.
On the postive side the cars in the body shop, being repainted 3 stage Pearl White
(paid a bit more to have it changed from ssm) total damage as paid by insurance company $3500.
now im driving a mazda 6 until my cars out the shop, Im out $300 deductable + whatever I paid for the extra paint.
From darkness comes light, at least now the odds are against it happening a second time.
