what he said is true.. but i think he is taking it too far, and the thing about there ar emore than 3 times more domestic cars on the road... i don't know about that.... and how he said his car isn't as unrelieable by giving examples of his relative... well.. we took the mercuy into the shop the year we got it... 3 times to be exact.. for estensive break repairs, it's almost a year since we got the civic... no problem yet... we also had the lincoln town car... the car is pretty much totalled (repair cost more than the worth of the car) ah well... i guess everyone has their own opinions...

CapYoda has a spectacular aura aboutCapYoda has a spectacular aura about
there's plenty of things like that.

I think its kinda silly devoting time and energy into sometihng like that. heh. he went against the rice crowd I guess. his MOMA whatever deal is pretty funny. its an old site guys, so nothign to get fet up about heh.

his rant about horsepower per liter is pretty stupid... he states that american car manufacture has came out of a car with 100 hp per liter way before Honda.. he's kinda wrong. the B16A came out in 1990.. (the Dodge Spirit R/T's engine came out in 1991) and we all know what that baby pumps out. The 100 hp per liter engine he is quoting off of is turbo charged too.. heh.. but I'll give that to him anyway. induction shoudlnt' be a factor.

course if we ask him to name a domestic manufacture that pumps out well over 100 hp per liter on an naturally aspired car.. well. I'm not sure. is there one out there?

anyway he's got some points around there. most of us shouldn't go around ranting about Honda being super. we know what we bought... just some of us dont. *shrug*

He is right about most Honda owners. Most are arrogant and do believe there cars can run 14's But oh well obviously this guy is all about drag racing. No competition there domestics do run faster there. But the highly tune DOHC owners sure do own the cones at alot of auto-x events But then again we all know that the RX-7 is the king of all importsRotaries ownz piston

Yes cuz Honda underrated there engine and instead of menaing N/A 127HP 1.7liter I4 SOHC they meant 6.5 liter V8 QOHC

Why would he waste his time reviewing a 2k1CivicThere isnt that much big of a difference besides that fact that our cars dont handle as well as older Civics, but they might be a little quicker but thats about it. And being paid to do this website i dont know what your talkin about there

that retart, maybe he can race his 20 year old V24 with our staight 4 engine and see which one is faster, and yet see what miles per gallon you're getting too, 8 miles per gallon maybe, kinda felt bad and shame for you being an Asian (me being one myself) bragging about how american cars are better than Honda, tell me that you haven't have one problem with this V24--older than you're car, and yet do any one of you ever own a car that did not have at least one proble sometime during owner ship, I don't think so. But if you guys look at the numbers, american car do have more problem than Honda car, right? and I bet you all know at least a couple friends that owns a Honda or toyota that has over 100k miles (or even over 200k miles) and they still runs great, and getting 20+ MPG, but can you name one American car can do the same tho... don't think so...

for all that you Honda owners, that have outlook express on your computer, add **alt.honda** newsletter to your account, there's a lot of talks about civic cars too that regards to yours...

Hey u got it right about the MPG thing but i think that domestic drivers dont give a rats *** how much MPG they get. Seriously they drive V8's not effecient I4's they can care lesss how much gas they saveThe only thing that matters to him is the timeslip not how much money hes saving from gas

Yeah but the reason why he did that was because of the prices. The price as tested for the HX came up as much as the Neon.

Does it matter if im with him or notI seriously think Civics do not have a great potential as domestics. Its been done over and over againSure Steven Papadikis hit 8's with a Civic but that was with an turbo H22A. One of the things ive learned in the past 6 months is that SOHC CIvic's are only useful for an economy car. The only Civic i truly respect for speed is the JDM Civic Type R, the USDM 1999-2000Civic Si somewhat. Those 2 are the only 2 Civics that come out of the factory with a DOHC B series engine. And if you remember DOHC has way more potential then what a SOHC engine can ever attain. The engine that is in our Civics is OK i guess for now. But the only thing that keeps me from selling or trading this car is the belief of the K series engine Lets hope that the K series engine can one day nicely fit in my ES Civic
