Need some canadian help

I need some help please. My company is going to be sending me to some training in Toronto. I'm from El Paso, Tx and have never been off the west coast. They are flying me to Buffalo, Ny and I have to drive from there to Toronto. I need to know if I am going to need to get a passport to cross the Canadian/American border, and what is there to do in toronto. I will have a car but as I said I've never been out so I don't know what to do.

Much thanks,

James

You will need a passport to come into Canada. You can cross at Niagara Falls or the other million crossings there :P Literally...

There are nightclubs in Toronto... there are bars... there are tons of things to do!
There are even women in toronto!

You most probably will be able to cross the border without any problems if you have your original birth certificate and photo I.D.. Welcome to Canada.

VERY IMPORTANT!

do you have a letter from your employer stating that you're not actually working here or selling anything??? If you don't you might get turned back...sometimes it's better just to say you're going to a conference but hopefully your company is on top of all that.

So yes, you need a passport.

and Toronto is a kick *** city if you're looking for something to do so enjoy it. It's like a smaller cleaner LA..lol.

Passport is not an offical requirement (assuming you are a U.S. citizen), just a birth certificate and drivers license will be sufficient. That said, a passport would be preferred though if you have one.

Nono... I'm from Texas, but I've never been anywhere but the west coast. Yes Cali, Arizona, Nevada, Colorodo, Utah, you know west of the Mississippi. As for hotel right now my company is looking at setting me up at the Days Inn on Carlton.

I am being sent up for a confrence. I'm a computer tech and one of the companies that we deal with is setting up a training seminar at their home office in Toronto. I don't sell anything. I just maintain computers.
