Well....!
Good things and bad things!
On the good side... I found out where my suspension clicking sound was coming from.. it was coming from a bolt not being tightened down :| hehe. Silly me for not making sure the bolts were torqued when I installed my shocks and springs. haha
On the bad side...
1. Some person jacked my two back valve caps.. like who does that? Who the hell jacks valve caps! Get your own! I got new one from a friend and I used a socket screwdriver and put them on NICE AND TIGHT.. you won't be getting those off unless you got the tools :P
2. On the bottom of my car when we jacked it up the other day.. there was a plastic Wal-mart bag stuck to the bottom of my exhaust.. gross... It was all melted.. and half of the bag is still melted to the exhaust piping and won't come off at all! It's so hot... the plastic has become liquid and is bubbling and dripping and ****. The car smells like burning plastic from the plastic bag when I sit idle. Thank god I don't smell anything when the car's moving or I'd be pissed. :| Any idea how to get it off?
::::::::::::::
My 96000 km service is coming up sooner than later (expected by the year's end)... It's gonna be an expensive service because I need to get the Type E service done, get transmission fluid changed, get brake fluid changed, get those spark plugs inspected... Also I need to get new tires definately... all 4 of my summer tires are down to the wear bars on the outer part.. and most of the inners of each tire are flat because of camber wear.
So I'm thinking of getting new tires, putting in a camber kit, and getting an alignment after. (note... clutch seems to be slipping a bit now in gear 1 and brakes are getting toast too)
But what I'm curious of is if I should go to Honda and get my Type E done. It's $371.88 apparently... transmission fluid change is $62.88... brake fluid is $59.88... inspecting and replacing sparkplugs is $50... (not to mention tires, clutch, alignment, camber kit, and brakes)...
Maybe I should skip the Type E service and do the changes myself. I'm really curious if Honda really inspects things or do they just say that...
I've calculated... from now to my 80000 km service.. I've done EVERY Honda service in the book... and I've spent $1700 on service alone.

Keep driving around and eventually the plastic will all burn away - hopefully you scraped as much of it off as you could. Basically no other way around it - unless you try to burn it off yourself. Like you said, apart from the smell nothing really to worry about. But well, its one of the reasons I avoid those things when driving - and if I pass over them, hope and pray I see them exit
As for your Type E .. go elsewhere - like a local garage you can trust. It'd be cheaper there, as their prices usually include labor as it is - unlike the dealership. Or if you can manage things yourself, just document it for maintenance (and warranty) purposes.

Oh welp... At least I got replacement caps before somebody lets the air out or something. Punks! lol!
I would do the work myself but I just want to make sure that I can get as high resale value as possible and thus far.. every maintenance done to my car has been at Honda.
I hear that burning plastic fumes is toxic.
That explains why I feel dumber today
