Best place for us Canucks to buy online??
anyone have suggestions? I'm kinda tired of the BS with US customs..lol.
depends on what you're looking for
www.tires23.com has some real good deals. especailly on rims.
you're right though...there doesnt seem to be the same abundance of sites with good deals that there is in the states. i wish this site had a canadian sponsor that had competitive pricing with the us sponsors. those guys have awesome deals

yeah, no kidding. There are several group buys that we can't even get into because either
a) they won't ship here
or
b) by the time shipping and duty is covered you're gettin blown out of the water.
I would like to try and set up a couple of Canadian Vendors on this site...just need to find them I guess.
yea...iv thought about tring to hook something up too. maybe tires23 will consider. they sponsor on torontostreetracing. ill ask martin (owner) what he thinks about it when i go to pick up my rims from him this weekend
he had the best prices i could find on the rims i got

I think most of the more capable vendors would be in the Toronto area. It would be good to find out who's sponsoring various canadian based boards....

i've dealt with tires23.com, good guys. i'll ask if speedstate.com would like to be our canadian vendor, they're in markham. i've talked to roger from there frequently this week. i'll ask him when he calls me for my suspension later this week.

www.driverfx.ca <- get the keystone order/part number and then head to your nearest Canadian Tire and order it from them - to save shipping.

I'm workin on a way to better able the US vendors that we have on the site to deal with members in canada and not have to deal with so many of the headaches associated with cross border sales......there are often some great GB's and packages that we could get in on if this works out......

EDIT:
On quick review of the site .. it looks like a great endeavor on the part of Canada Post. But shipping with Canada Post (or USPS) isn't really a problem with duties and getting it cheaply across, the problem more so is getting vendors to ship that way. Most use the convience of UPS as its easiest and safest for them - and which rips us the heck off. I laughed when my duty charge came in for my camber kit. 72$ - 30$ of which was tax.. 42$ was brokerage fees. Sickening!!

I've heard from people in the US that actually use this and they're quite happy with it.
