thanks dont like chrome either but I saw a RSX today at Wheels direct and it was silver with chrome 19' rims on it and it looked sick!!!! Just was wondering thats all thanks

Not a fan of chrome on imports myself but if you HAVE to get them, they really do look best on black or at least dark-coloured cars. I feel that if I found myself looking at a silver car then catching a glimpse of super-shiny-silver (chrome) rims, the rest of the car would get washed out and all you would come away remembering would be the big rims and nothing else.

have got nothing but compliments, they look way better in person...I have people driving some sexy cars, like highend cars stop beside me and tell me they like my car

Rep Power: 0 yea man djspot's got a huge point and a good one at that, do something to make ur car look good... civics in general i (PERSONALLY) think dont look good with chrome rims that are made for benz's, beemers, lexus, u know that PHAT CHROME (ie. Lexani, Giovanna, chromies like that)... but what djspot has, is a wicked setup (Mad Props Man, Nice Car). dont get me wrong i love chrome too but most chrome rims just dont go with our civics. thats what i think!

Rep Power: 0 But in the same respect do what makes U happy, i mean like everything else there will always be mixed reactions. know what i mean? for example a car with juss black steelies on it, or big *** racing wings, some people like that look and some dont. but if u like it then honestly, what else matters?

I agree, I was at Superior Tire recently for an alignment, and there were a few guys there about to pick out some rims, and they were picking out the most rediculous rims I've ever seen...why do I say rediculous? because they were picking out rims that have "designs" I dont think any rims should have "designs" on them, ESPECIALLY chrome...by that I mean, ripples, waves, **** like that...but then again its their car, their rims...when going with chrome I think its very important to go with simple, and big...the reason why I say go big, is because you dont want the "cluttered" look...example, my rims in 16" or even 17" just dont look right, looks like too much chrome...
the more simple your car is the more sexy and sleek it looks, more "grown" up, you start adding all these rediculous things, and it has more of an "immature" look...get what Im trying to say?

Rep Power: 0 totally agree with djspot, i sooooo believe in an "immature" and "grown up" look, i mean u guys have to agree when u first started to mod ur cars how did they look like to u? compaired to now, when ur actually into the modding scene.. and yes BIG and SIMPLE is always best with chrome.. at least with civics. choose something that will FLOW with the car and the theme that u got goin on or at least tryin to reach.

Rep Power: 0 I totally smell yall, I have pics of the rims that I am gonna get but I dont wanna post them casue I am afriad of "biters" (copycats) if you wanna see them if you come to the next G7 meet I will show you them on my digi cam. I might not even buy them til next year cause I wanna go on vacation with the G/F damn!!!

Rep Power: 0 Might not get them till next year Rob!! I wanna go on vacation with the G/F, and yes I did say that I am surprised you remembered. The reason I want rims is I see too many guys with them but I think I can wait til next year though cause the season already started i guess.
