Nervous about puttin them on...
Well, I FINALLY got around to getting my rubber (thanks rijowysock) mounted on to my rims. Can't put them on till I get an alignment, but I can't get an alignment till I drop. And of course I can't drop till I take my winters off (tires too big). So I'm appeasing my mod lust by posting silly pictures...
Here's my buddy sitting in my stacked tires...

And here are a couple of pics of the goodness, which will be put on Friday night (alignment on Saturday right before the Acura Woodbine show n shine):

And here's why I'm a little nervous:

I drive 42km down the 401 then Yonge St every freakin day! I've been mapping out my route since I started work, so as to hit a minimum of potholes. I wonder if I can set GPS to alert me at every pothole....

GL with the 401, I'm glad the 400 is not as bad. Plus I only drive like 5 minutes on the 400, and I'm at work
.

Too bad you aren't coming from the east end on the 401, otherwise I'd suggest coming down Leslie or Bayview. Much less potholes and lighter traffic at rush hour.
Are your new rims 18's?

I believe they are 19s!

OMG they are so BIG!!!!
and tires are so thin..... potholes will be ur worst enemy. Freakin sexy though, even more sexy then ur are.....
don't even bother comin to hamilton with those, u'll be drivin slower then grandmas pushing shoppin carts..... i'm having a tough time but some how my new falkens ride so nice and smooth.

you should be fine on peel roads. i'm currently running 18's with 40 profile tires and so far i have not had any problems with the roads.
not to hijack the thread but i got a brand new set of 4x100, 20's just sitting in storage with 30 profile tires on them. i'm currently trying to sell them but i'm going to take too much of a loss. i'm thinking of raising my car up a bit so i can get them on without rubbing but i'll probably end up selling them. i'm looking to get $4000 for the rims/tires...here are the specs:
rims: 20"x7.5 KONIG PROPHETS (CHROME) 4x100
tires: pirelli p-zero nero 225/30/20 (100% tread)
both tires and rims are BRAND NEW and never used on the road.

thats you sitting in the tires you lier

Your bets pot hole route
try taking allen rd south to lawrence (NOT EGLINTON allen rd ends and gets backed up easy) then take lawrence across to avenue rd, the strech of avenue from lawrence to eglinton has just been repaved and lawrence doesnt have too many pot holes, you can then hit wherever around y&e you work at through side streets. however be careful between bathurst and avenue on lawrence good speed trap spot.
Id also like to comment that taking allen rd is geographically closer to your work telly, the 401 begins to twist a bit north after allen.
/me likes your rims

Well, they're on and torqued down. Couldn't slam the car, perch ring thingies on my Hayames were seized up by the snow, too lazy to fuqq with it....it's OK I'm still low. But now perhaps an excuse for new and better coilovers? Hmmm....
