We're starting to see drifting events here around Mtl. One happened last fall and should see many more this year. Torco just imported 2 Skylines and Automotion's got a couple S14 and S15.

Yeah I made the trip from miami to irwindale for the last 2 D1's. theres nothing like being on the fence and seeing a s15 and r34 slide by inches from each other, then smell the tire smoke and get hit in the face with the chunks of rubber.

i went 2 years ago to the very first D1 here in Canada, at the Hersey center and the other one last year, i cant remember the place but the signla skyline was there. I will post pics when i get home....lol....im on the computer in the OR....lol.

I like drag racing but nothing beats drifting events. They're so much more exciting to watch and the drivers double as entertainers.

I would've gone too, had it not been for exams during that time...

But Tekgnosis went and got to meet Tsuchiya Keiichi (the drift king) They sat next to each other in the bleachers... i'm so jealous...

hopefully next year! but yeah, drifting rocks!!! Just wait till i'm finish with my project car!

shifty, i guess you didnt know how many of the 7thgen members were there at the last d1 event...i was actually doing media coverage for that event for this site, plus the slipstream both had a few members too....


anyways, d1 not formula d....not really a fan of them.

Hey Liro, yeah man i didnt really know about Gen7. There was a copper coloured vic, a white one and a blue from what i can remember. I dunno who it was that I talked to for a bit about how they wired their A/F gauge...lol. Meh maybe ill remember when i meet everyone at the meet.
