What do you want?? (in a team) this thread was created to see what PPL want in a TEAM... what PPL will expect from Reps. (BIG, MIR, Pharoh and myself) what PPL expect from Gen7 TEAM...
and Befoer april I will make it my duty (alomg with the other reps) to have a 2005 plan for Gen7...
what I need from you all is stated above...be honest and keep to the topic and stay serious..

I want a medium through which i can enoy my hobbie of cars and modifying them.
i want to meet people with the same hobbie, people with skills and knowledge about cars
i want to help people with there cars, and be helped with my car.
i want to be part of an organization that promotes, encourages and celebrates clean, freindly, usefull and fun events.
i want to go to and participate in events such as shows and leagal races with a team and be proud to be part of that team. instead of stading by my car alone.
i want to be part of an organization, that in time will grow to have a big voice, so that we can work on bridging the gap between us enthusiasts and the law and the normal person.
i think that is all

I want a team where things can be coordinated easily, not waiting weeks and months on end for member's responses on an issue.
I want to help coordinate awesome meets in which 85% of members are present because they want to be there not because they feel obligated.
I want to be a part of a representative council of individuals who prepare, organize and make things happen for the other members of the team, and members who take part in the organizational process as well.
I want a team in which the members place the team and everything involved with it on one of their higher priorities of hobbies and leisure activities.

I want a big meet in Ottawa this year too.
I personally want to go to more shows this year so I guess I want the team to enter shows. Not that it hadnt in the past but we should keep that up.
We shouldn't schedule to many things. IMO we should have a few big events(BBQ's, shows, track days) rather than many small events. That way the events are special and you can try to plan for them well in advance.
And I want the best cars too.

Rep Power: 0 perhaps a strategic planning council should be made...beyond reps for people who want to get more involved in planning for the team but is not a rep...im sure some members lots of input and this would give em a chance....
a thread like this was a great idea and have members who care about the direction this team is headed, the could help plan and make a difference...
i would also like to see a schedule for not only events, but updates on whats happening - like a status report on the team
and some how the regions need to be more unified...aside from having the same banner on the car....the 3 big meets that alppy had planned totally necessary....

i just want to be doing things together as a team..
-meets/bbq's
-going to events DK, IF etc...I mean we don't all have to enter, but as a team i would like to see gen7 members from to be there to show support...and represent a GEN7 area at the show...thats how we get our name out...much like making big showings at track days...one IS coming up in SPARTA near london...(see thread in this section) :P

I would like a consistant group.. loyal 7thgen members you can see everytime there is a meet.. new people here and there.. but always have the constant members that will always be there..

Rep Power: 0 hey vic, i have a suggestion, i say that there be an application process where by new perspective members come to at least 2 meets, then they can pay the fee and be signed up...
so what is going to be done with the fees? put into the bbq and meets and stuff?

Rep Power: 0 the application process be that they show up for 2 meets....i wrote that didnt i? im sure i did...
once they have come to 2 meets then all they have to do is pay the fee and they're in....renew membership at 1yr....

I think the way we did the BBQ thing in Oshawa was great...we paid our own admission and assigned the food/condiments/drinks to the coming members...the only thing fees should cover IMO are stickers and some other little benefits
