Anyone at all know what the hell I just saw on TV? It's a Canadian commercial for a new Civic called the Reverb and it's based on the coupe platform. I'm wondering if it's only Canadian as we've had several variations of the Civic that never hit the USA...like the Veloz and the Sport Sedan.

Commercial is a bunch of people cruisin in Civics and they're all bobble heads...lol. Pretty funny actually.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.. I came across the Reverb on the Honda Canada website. It had the '01/02 Si coupe rims.. *shrugs*

Yeah the reverb comes with a body kit, the 01-03 Si rims, 6 cd changer in the dash like the accord yet only 4 speakers (which i find dumb), a spoiler, no sunroof, and a bunch of other lil things
obviously the main things are the kit, 6 cd changer, and old Si rims.

The SiG however has the sunroof, the 6 cd changer with 6 speakers, but comes with the 04 Si rims.
There are other differences but those are the main ones. Oh yeah, reverb dont have vtec, thats only on the SiG.

The discontinued the Si for 2005 and stuck with the Si G package. That was about all I had heard until this Reverb thing.

yep i was checking out the honda website the other day....im pretty sure it is like a 2005 version of the 2002 veloz...comes with the sexy new lip kit and all!!

this commercial is amusing...was wondering about it as well. the whole 6 cd changer with only 4 speakers is a lil' half assed tho....

yep no tweets........and reverb is just a "looks package" pretty weak in terms of accessories............has less convienence accessories than the LX.....$400 more but comes with all the exterior goodies........pretty huge price gap from the reverb to the next model up Si-g........19,100 to 22,500

would be interested to see it in person, have yet to see the comercial either........

yep........thats why i didnt bother getting the Si.......civics are slow, i just accept it..........when i graduate and get a real job in a couple years i'll get something that'll pull hard..........

honda loves doing that to the last year model of their car. add some goodies and made the car so special but it is really not that unique or good bargain at all.

Yeah I saw the commercial there last week and was like WTF?.
I went on to the Civicnation.ca site and well the Reverb doesnt have half of the power options and features that the Si has, all it is, is a Lx/Dx with a lip kit, rims, spoiler, and a different stereo, 99% of us change the stereo out first anyway so for the price its not that great really.

But thats just my $0.02

I just bought a Civic reverb a few days ago and i'm just waiting for the call to come and pick it up.. Its just a 2 door coupe with the Front Lip.. side skirts and rear lip.. The reverb also has AC ...It has 15inch alloys and a 6 disk in dash cd/mp3 player.. and whats all this i read that its only 4 speakers?? cuz thats WRONG.. it has 6 speakers... You can even check the specs..

I had checked out the brochure from honda and it said 4 speakers. They, they redesigned the honda website, made all sorts of changes to it, and all of a sudden it says 6 speakers. But im glad, cuz thats how it should be, and im happy you got 6 speakers!

And according to honda.ca, only the reverb comes in white. Damn how I wanted my civic in white! Ah well, life goes on!

So you loose a lot of the power options in lue of the skirt package? That's not bad I guess... but I love my power windows.

Anyways, I also noticed only the reverb gets white... god damn I love white. My next car is definatly going to be White or Red.

I just came back from the dealership from getting my car serviced and checked out a reverb in blue. its a NICE kit, damn! No power windows though, that SUCKS, but the head unit looks NICE. Its something like 360 watts, and I hope it came with rca preouts on the back.
