Question Robear Racing shipping to Canada?

Does anyone know if Robear Racing ships to Canada? I'm looking into a set of foglights and side markers.

Yes, I know EBAY has the foglights for cheaper, but I'm hearing a lot of good things about Robear and customer service. I'd rather pay the extra $30 and make sure its legit!

Thanks for the help.

yeah they do but shipping and brokerage are a pain in the *** when buying new parts from a US shop. You get charged GST on top too.

Really... damn

You think EBAY would be the way to go? I don't really know how charges apply when the item crosses the border.

Ebay will rape you just the same. All in all usually it comes to about the same price as having a local shop order it. But of course robear carries stuff that's hard (or impossible) to get up here, so IMO it's worth it. I've ordered from robear a few times, and a few of my friends have also done so on my recommendation.

p.s. my sidemarkers are from robear, been 2+ years now no problems at all.

Yo

It's probably better to get everything from the same place or you will get hit with brokerage twice (enless the fogs are from and Ebayer in Canada)

Hey Robear since your here, why dont u help us canadians out a bit, and we'll help you out by buying more from you.

As you probably know we have problems ordering from the states with all those extra fees we have to pay for, so maybe if you could somehow ship with a different postal service instead of UPS we would be glad to order from you over your competitors.

If you could work out anything at all that could save us some money please let us know, I think I speak on behalf of many Canadian 7th gen members who have ordered parts from the states in the past, so message us back and let us know, thanks

yes UPS is killer on brokerage. USPS only charges $5 for brokerage on items under $1200.

HAHA SHAATTAP!

Well its true though, we do need some help in terms of ordering products from the States. Its so hard certain parts here.

Robear, I do intend to buy from you (DC5 sidemarkers and ES3 fogs), its just the fees that we have to pay are killing me! Is there any way that you can help us out? I'm sure there are a LOT of Canadian buyers in the same situation as I am.

I think alot of canadians would be interested, we just need one of the distributors to take notice of our market potential, theres lots of money to be made they just have to step up and take advantage of the situation

yes, let us know. Alot of companies do mark it as a gift when shipping to canada, at least they have for me. I usually just get it shipped to my friends in the states, put it on, and drive back....:O

Importrp.com is great to deal with. Jeff was awesome and he did the "gift" trick to save me some money. I highly recommend them.

Couldn't we just ask Robear to do the "gift" trick with us then? BTW, I still haven't bought anything yet lol. I'm hoping I could find the DC5 sidemarkers locally. If anyone knows any shops that have them let me know please.

it's against Customs regulations to do the gift thing. I don't know what the consequences would be but i'm sure most companies don't want to find out.

Hey guys, Robear just got back to me. They WILL ship to Canada with USPS, all you gotta do is email them with the details of your order and specifically ask them to ship it with USPS. Heres the email addy to contact them:
karebearsi@verizon.net
Make sure that you include detailed info about ur order and stuff. Hope this helps.

i dont think that there is a size/weight limit, its just going to cost u more.

UPDATE: The only thing with asking them to ship it with USPS is that they cannot provide u with a tracking number, the explanation i got was that it was because they dont deal with them usually (BS). Its been 2.5 weeks and my package still hasnt arrived and not having a trackin number drives u nuts.

yes it does and USPS can be very inconsistent with delivery times. almost took a month to get a strut bar from a member in south carolina. with no tracking number you go apeshit.
