Yes it's me, I've been hangin here, Speedbump, Acuraworld, Honduh, Honda-Tech, and the like, gettin my info for several projects, and sharing knowledge and stupidity wherever I can.
Talk to APRBoy about the rear conversion. As for the front, I know unpainted from the dealer the 04 front bumper cover is just shy of $500 (I called last summer). Then you have to get new turn signal
and fog light housings, probably another $300 at least. Total for the front end would probably be 800 painted if you had serious hookups. Otherwise, look at over a grand. It has been done, there was a member from ClubEL who had an 04 front on his 03 (or was it an 01, I forget) turboed with NOS, but the car had a nasty fire and I don't have pics of it so I can't prove *****. I did see it in person when the guy happened to pass me in Mississauga once. Front mount dimensions for the 01-03 and 04-05 EL bumpers are the same, save for the bumper and fog light placement.

depends also on if you've got the sedan or not...but as for the rear bumper...you'll need a new trunk lid, and tailights, and of course the new bumper....im betting that'll cost a pretty penny....
talk to bruno in ottawa....forget his screen name now...damn....

APRboy (bruno) is the one with an '04 EL conversion on his civic.
This is a lot of work and a lot of parts. You'll need an EL rear bumper, Trunk, tail lights/sockets, and both rear quarter pannels.
The bumper and rear quarters use different mounting holes so new ones will need to be drilled in as well as the tail lights. None of this is simple bolt ons... it's a big job.

well you would have to change all those things to accomodate the bumper...first the headlights are different on both cars....therefore the hood will not fit, and fenders.....

Liro is wrong about the headlights - 04-05 EL heads fit the 01-03 EL's just fine (Liro lay off the crack please).
Swapping an 04-05 EL front bumper on an 01-03 EL requires a change in bumper lights and fog lights like i already posted (READ my previous posts AGAIN). The grille is different only in finish, mounting points should still line up.
Again, for the front, the absolute BARE essentials you will need to swap, assuming you're keeping your headlights and grille:
- 05 bumper cover + painting
- 05 fog light housings + wiring and bulbs if you actually want them to work
- 05 turn signal housings, I've been told bulbs are the same, but I think the plugs are different
And no I don't need you to DJ my wedding, for one, being a DJ myself for almost 10 years, I'm too picky and my DJ partner would get the job before you anyway.

I should also write another book, called "Pay TeLLy Large Amounts of Cash".
BTW kryngle this stuff is in the "what is an EL anyway" post, stickied at the top of this board's EL section.
