I'm an active member of Club Civic Québec and I hope you guyz will subscribe to our forum and become members, it's weeeel worth the 20$/year! Just our first outing to the racetrack in Tremblant last May was all worth the membership! We "paraded" (at 110-120 km/h...) behind the pace car for over 3 laps and got photoshooting time on the grid during the 6 hrs. of Tremblant (Rolex series, sedan gt...). We spent the entire day in the pits after the cops escorted us in the morning from Ste-Agathe to Tremblant (over 60 nice and clean civics in line).

Now a question for you.. what sidemarkers are those? Also, you state you are getting new wheels (or at least want to), what are you looking to change into?

Are helmets expensive?

I actually don't know how much helmets go for, I have many friends that race that can lend me one when I'll go lapping. Here's a couple pics, one last May @ Tremblant, the other in drag racing trim and one @ SCP5 with a little extra...

Is your engine stock!!!!! Do you drag race often, hows your clutch holding up?
Cause thats a good time. I know someone with a short ram intake he did 16.7 lol.
Are the older SIR's fast? the 2000 coupe models.

My stock clutch was high the day I bought the car but it's still doing good after 110 000 km., I'm changing it to be higher and take more abuse. The lightened flywheel will give me quicker rpm's.

I know your saying about stock clutch. You don't have to press the pedal all the way down to engage the clutch. You only have to press it a little, I think all the way down would be better.

Yeah its hard to syncshornize your foot with your hand. When you feel the gear stick slip into gear, but you let go of the clutch to late it slips. I'm shifitng better now but I still screw up.
Do you heel-toe downshift?
