well I am getting my car painted basically candy apple orange, its a darker orange and well keeping my CF hood and getting a CF trunk. Now for rims, the shop i go to wants me to put on 18" Chrome Lexani Slates. Hella Cheap too under 2G's Im just worried it won't work whats everyones opinions
I drool over the design one CF's...only if my pockets were deep enough. Don't forget that it's your car and you can do whatever you want with it...don't get something because it's at a goood price...if you do...you'll end up regretting it.

IMO Lexani = too bling for our cars. I like the more traditional tuner look for the Civics. You know, nice contrast in colours, not a lot of silver/chrome, 5 spokes with a polished lip, that kinda thing.
But Liro is right, do what you like, it's your car. BTW for 2g's you can get a set of 19's with rubber, so when it comes down to it, you do have tons of options for that amount of cash....

I wish i had a white civic! If i were you, i wouldnt paint it man, you're so lucky to have a white vic as is!
If you do paint it, id stay away from chrome... Gunmetal would look ill on candy apple orange IMO

but if its to be painted orange id go with te gunmetal. yes. thats a wise choice i believe. i see your car in the falls in the summer almost as much as i see MY car so i shall consider it OUR car and we should get gunmetal.and we should also paint out car hot pink.yes.

hummm... if your gonna bling ur car... i think chrome wouldnt look bad on a dark orange car.. slap on those shining side graphics.. slam it... and put a body kit and you have yourself a true show car

besides...the "bling" look isnt exactly tastefull. tacky, and pretty lame imo. seems more about "hey everyone look at me" rather then what actually looks good
I'm with bakablo..I think chrome will look good on a dark orange colour.
I think if you car is done up enough (and White2k2Civic's is) the chrome look can be nice.
It definately goes away form the racing type look to a total show look which you dont see with too many civics.
Also, if everyone says to get gunmetal rims, then getting chrome rims will be unique. So if you want to be standout I'd say go with the chrome. But some will like and some will hate.

me personally i would be very thankful to have a white car as is...in which case...you can still get chrome, gm, or gold.....
