I never had insurance under my name and want to be insured for as the primary driver of an acura 96 2.5TL. Last week at statefarm i bought insurance for $256 + $14 life insurance because I get 5% off the car if I get life and still be cheaper than paying regular. Anyways my broker just called me and now says there is a difference of $200 more for 6 months because of my postal code. I said you gave me that price before when you asked me where I lived and said Toronto and I gave her all my info but now she calls me up saying the quote she gave me was for a generic Toronto to give quotes and that the actual postal code determines your premium. Now that's a diff of $400, already too much as is.

I have almost 6 years driving experience, 21 almost 22 with clean everything and never had insurance. anyone fit this criteria? Can you tell me how much it cost you for someone around my age group and your broker and number?

Thanks a lot.
