Anybody go to Vaughan Mills Mall yet?
I just went to the mall today since I live like 2 mins away. Its a freakin' nice mall. Dissapointed that there are not many electronic stores, and no car related stores in there
. The bass pro shop is really nice. They have live fish in there.
If anybody decides to go, be warned that it will take you forever to find a parking spot. I was also dissapointed that the go-kart place is not open yet
.
I wanted to try out the go-karts today.

I don't plan on going until sometime next year, if it all. I don't really live anywhere close to it, and I can't stand crowded mall parking lots and stores. The way I see it, I can find pretty much all of the stores they have (at least the ones I would want to go to) there in any other major mall in the GTA.
Damn, go karts aint open! That sucks!
Live fish in there? Damn, sounds like barbershop 2!
Im prolly gonna check it out soon, too busy with school right now though.
Thanks for the headsup on parking! That may delay my plans on going there, cuz crowded malls=door dings

I'll go in someone else's ride eventually. I wish they would take some of the load off Pac Mall, but they're dealing with a totally different demographic I'm sure.

Anybody down for that idea?
We could probably even get a group discount if enough people go.
Doesn't have to be soon cause its busy there. We could plan it for several months down the road.

I walked into a lingerie store last xmas and there was a damn GUY working there and trying to help me, yet he was completely useless. He asked me "So, what size is your girlfriend?" before i even told him what I was looking for. And he had no ideas about what would go well together, so I asked some female worker and she starts telling me how that guy is a perv who gets off on hearing people's sizes. Some people

Anyways, anyone know if the victoria secret is open?

Hate to resurrect an old thread, but my mom sent me an email today, thought this would be funny:
it is a zoo and parking is crazy... wait until the holidays are over and the excitement over the novelty of a new mall has subsided. there's really nothing there in terms of what's not here in Mississauga, except for the Ben-and-Jerry ice cream cart and O-NE.
i went there expecting something similar to the chain of 'mills' in the USA where it is really outlet shopping in terms of prices and merchandise. they say it is owned by the same owner of the american 'mills' malls. but we did not see any outlet deals. even the food court .. nothing new there.
ya, if you're going there, dont take your acura.
Ha ha, my mom, who hates my modding, tells me not to take my car to VM....oh the love.....ha ha.

I finally went there..... Interesting to say the least...
- I don't like the shape of it... damn weird....
- Feels weird with no big "store" supporting it. No Bay, Sears, Eatons.. Biggest store in there is Bass Pro Shop, and Winners.
- Bass Pro Shop scares me, you see teens touching the guns and rifles
- There's surprisingly no Gap, Banana Republic, Club Monaco, etc....
- Some of the stores look like crap, the majority of them do. Some are too deep, others look like a warehouse, with all the shoes/boxes piles sky high. Some are just crap, and are only like 7 meters deep inwards from the store entrance.
- ONE, or whatever that store is called, will be drooled by all the white folk. The Chinese people already have one in Markham....
- Build-a-Bear is a totally new concept to me, never saw the one at Square One, so it looked kinda neat, expensive though.
- What a MEAT MARKET
DAMN, never seen so much young nubile flesh in awhile..... I frequent Yorkdale, Sherway, and the Markham malls..... This one had alot of fresh meat
- A friend pointed out the "unique" seating structures at each numbered entrance. It's like they had 50 designers, and each one got to do some piece of the mall...
- Alot of gino shops.... I have to do some tie / dress shirt shopping, and some of them I got freaked out
- and no, I did not see a Victoria Secret shop there, nor did I see any store front that did not open yet that could potentially be VicSecret

Though I'll probably never go to that mall - it sounds like any new mall. There won't be nice pricing until the "new" factor subsides - because people are lazy but once they realize they paid so much they'll not go back (until that deal truly exists). Plus the fact that a new mall = higher rent => higher expenses => ...
Anyways, have fun going if you do decide to...
