I'm pissed....

its 7am in the morning. I went bed at like 2 am. That's not the point though. Some jack *** just stole my stock rims of my car.

Just went the freakin' police station. Called my insurance company. I gotta wait until around 8 am ish, before the insurance office opens. They're gonna call me back.

The funny thing is, I just got an alarm installed and it didn't even go off. What the **** is that.

I live near wonderland. Well at least my car is still there. I should have just bought a freakin' kia... nobody would have wanted rims off those freakin cars.

The funny thing is, my dad woke me up around 3am ish, and he told me my alarm was making noise. It didn't go off, cause it would have paged me. I should have at least went outside. My dad saw a car outside, but he doesn't know what kind of car it was.

HOLY **** DUDE! Was there any other damage to the car? Double check everything to see if it's ok.

On a lighter note.... those rims are expensive as hell from Honda. You'll get a nice fat check from the insurance company for them. Have fun rolling on 18's for free.

I already bought 17's, about 2 weeks ago. Well let's see what insurance will do. I full coverage on my car, so i know I'm covered for sure.

There was no damage to the car. I think they just wanted the rims. I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight.

Will insurance give me a check? or will they ask me to get the rims from honda, and fax a receipt or something?

Still waiting for insurance to call back. I gotta work at like 10:30 too.

Yes, I realize that I'm replying to every post.

Anyone foolish enough to get caught fuqqin with my ride would live long enough to see me test out medieval torture techniques on his sorry ***. I do not value the existence of these lowlifes enough to treat them like human beings and subject them to due legal process. They're right up there with child molesters and cop killers for me man - WORTHLESS SCUM.
phuviano, sorry to hear about your ride homey. I hope your compensation will make this all seem like just another bad dream. Did you have locks on your wheels? Thankfully all they wanted was the rims.

I already have 17's, but I got no rubber on them yet. I was going to install them next summer. I think I'll just take the steelies I got, and get some winter tires on them. I know its early, but I don't care.

I actually was suppose to go to work today. I went, and they said I could leave cause I needed to return my mom's car, cause she works at 2:30.

If insurance writes me a check, I don't really mind, cause my intentions were to sell those rims any way.

I guess I'm upset cause someone stole it. Its like when someone steals anything that belongs to you.

Thanks telly. I didn't have locks, cause my intentions were not to keep the rims. I was going to take them off by the end of this month. I was going to sell them on this board. I guess that's not going to happen now.

I think I might just be getting my winters tires today. I already have steelies, I'll just buy winters for now. I'll probably get the shop to install them, on to the steelies. I'll probably just borrow a torque wrench off my buddy and put them on my car myself.

Thanks, everyone. I luv 7thgen, and all its members. Everyone is so nice here. I should come to one of the meets sometime. I've been meaning to come to one of the meets you guys have, but I always see the postings too late.

I should come on this board more often.

Yeah ***** it like I do. If not for this board, my car would be boring and stock, and I'd be sooo much richer.

I've been reading about a bunch of wheel thefts on other boards recently and it's always the stock wheels. There have been a few set of the 04 SI wheels for sale too and there was a thread on ClubSi about a guy that got caught trying to sell SIR wheels back to the guy they were stolen from. Wheel locks might deter a thief, but if someone wants your stuff, they'll steal the whole car. Theives suck!

Its not what was stolen to me, its the fact that SOMETHING OF MINE was stolen ya know? Very unsettling.

Last time I had something stolen was my jeep. First thing was my center consle was opened up and rummaged thru, taking my radar detector and some tapes. 2nd time was brutal. I had just (2 weeks before) raised it 7" using a homemade (at my work's shop) lift kit and put on some used/repaired giant 32" tires/wheels. Had them on 2 weeks, crashed at my bosses apt one night, came out in the morning and it was sitting on the ground.

Had 3 diff wheel locks on it, that doesnt matter. they used old lug nuts, glued (liquid metal or something, that stuff in the 2 tubes) them onto the locking nuts, let it dry and then wrechned it all off and took the wheels/tires.

Sorry to hear it man, hope your insurance helps you nicely and that you get some satisfaction out of it.

wheel locks dont usually work, it'll just slow them thefts an extra minute to switch to the lock.

the key to a wheel lock is easily purchased at any wheel/rim shops.

as for your alarm... it could of been that you had it set on a different mode, since you just gotten it, maybe you havent really knew how to work all the features??

it took me like three weeks to get used to all the features that i have on my alarm.

that, or the sensitive sensor was set on low...? which usually takes something to hit the vehicle to go off....

about the alarm you should see if there is any guarantee with it. I think my alarm has a few thousand coverage if stuff gets stolen. But im also sure that it would be a huge hassle to ever get them to pay anything.

hey sorry to hear that...it has happened to me before too when i first bought my car..didn't have wheel locks either..but hey look in the bright side..those whees are like $300 each..not including tires..so you probably get at least a $1500 check..which is quite good cuz you wouldn't have sold it for this much..and i dont' think it'll affect your insurance either...so it's all good!

I look at your pictures and cringe as I had a buddy walk out to see that as well. It wasn't stock Honda rims - they were stock Mazda (Protege5) rims. Especially since quiet area means someone definitely took the time to get those rims (probably followed him home or a neighbourhood punk).

In any event, hope your insurance gives you a nice check like others .. and hopefully others take it as a warning. People will steal the shirt off your back if you aren't careful enough.

You do have a good point there. I just bought some winter tires to go on my car. It'll be installed tommorrow morning. I'll just be running my steelies for now.
