Purchasing 2005 Civic SE in Toronto - Need help
Hi guys,
I am purchasing a 2005 Civic SE in Toronto. No options on the car and the MSRP is $17,300 - with freight the total comes to $18,398.
I was wondering what deal I could realistically get on this car. Is $1500 off MSRP realistic? Which dealerships should I try?
Initially I was planning on faxing every dealer in the GTA.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

honestly, 1500 off an 05 SE will be VERY difficult.........more like 800 if that.....when i was initially looking for a 04 civic, i was looking at the SE before I got the LX............the most they would give me off it was 700 because they sell it for such a low margin, you can get more off the higher models ie. the Si
try to find an 04..........civics are too high in demand so you gotta pay the price........they wont move much at all on the 05's...

oh and faxing wont work.........they'll call you can tell you to come in and talk........you'll get farther that way anyhow, but be ready to buy when you negotiate.......you'll get a better price if your ready to buy right away

After you leave that dealership with your car, they won't give a $hit about you. Everyone in that dealership treats you like an A$$. I wish I bought my 04 at another dealership.
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM MARKHAM HONDA...
why don't u just get the 05?
IMO, when u get 05, u should get something memorable from 7thgen.....like the new red color of EX SE...most probably, there are some fixed "bugs" from 04.....it should be the best version of 7thgencivic, hehe.

-----------
I don't know whats the big improvement from 04 - 05 other than the interest rate increase... honestly, with the amount of cash I could knock of on a 04, i could use tht money and do quite a lot to the civic...
I saved 3160 on a 04, and lets say I could save 1000 on a 05... hey, i haf 2160 left over that I could use for rims, upgrades etc...
