Well ive had experience with two of those places...Pitstop and Image

Pitstop- The guys dont treat ya good unless you're persian which is ridiculous. I went there, got quoted on some stuff, then my persian buddy went in for me and they offered him the same stuff for 20% less just cuz he spoke to them in Farsi... Never will go back there again.

Image- Nice guys, but a lil over priced IMO. However Bruno (I think hes the owner) didnt charge me tax cuz I paid cash!

Now I usually just pull a DIY! That saves the biggest bucks!

For parts-JRP in Mississauga, helpful, friendly, cheap prices. They also gave me install tips.

Splitfire in Brampton, got coilover sleves for my 90 Accord (when I was a noob to all of this). Sold me Civic coilovers (bounce!!), installed a rear shock backwards, forgot to tighten a front control arm bolt, left my rear carpet and panels a mess. Although they are highly recommended by some, I had a bad experience.

Si Performance in Brampton. Excelent knowlege, friendly, free diagnostic and scans, honest.

One of the advantages to installing your stuff yourself - not having to check the odometer after you pick your car up.

Speedtech is located in Scarborough on Silverstar (Midland just north of Finch). (416) 335-8388.

They sell and install performance parts, suspension, rims, bodykits, wings, accessories, etc.

My current car is stock, but my past cars (92 Civic and 00 1.6EL) had a bunch of stuff done there (header, catback exhaust, strut bars, fog lights, spoiler, tires, etc.).
