Updated again: Warning in DUI, red light, drinking in public, improper muffler. 1week
Well...I got a warning in drinking an driving. Didnt even drink so much. I just drank 2 beers within an hour and I got a warning for it. **** ME! So they got my car towed and a 12 hour suspension. Picked up the car the very next day and had to pay $190
Thats not all. While I got my car towed the officer gave me a ticket for failing to come to a stop while making a right turn. $190 and 3 points
Still not done. I went camping this weekend in Barrie. The first night I was drunk and needed to go pee. So I took a beer bottle with me to the washroom which is only about a 50m walk. Well, it was pitch dark and I had trouble getting there so while on my way there in the total darkness a flash light all of a sudden flashes at me. It was the Park Ranger, he asked if I was ok and where I was headed and then he saw the beer bottle that was EMPTY in my hand and worte me a ticket on the spot for $130
Thats not all. Today I get hit with a improper muffler infraction. I saw the cop behind me the whole time so I drove moderately making sure I dont make my exhaust howl. I told him that the muffler is legal. He wrote me a $110
All this happened started last friday. Which was a friday the 13th BTW. until today. Exactly 1 week.....
Can I have any worse of luck?

yea i understand amber to mean slow down because we have an intersection that one road is amber flashing and one is red flashing so you have to watch for people who stopped then turn, im pretty sure thats how it works, i just slow down a bit for the flasing amber (yellow)

Rep Power: 0 yeah you shouldnt have to stop at an amber light...it means to proceed with caution. So if you got a ticket for not coming to a complete stop you should be able to fight that no problem. Boss I think alot of people just roll through on right hand turns, its too bad that the cop was watchin for it and nailed ya. He was probably hoping for a reason to pull you over and scope out your car. I dont know about you but If I have 2 beers in one hour I get a little buzz. What did you blow on the breathalyzer?

Rep Power: 0 all I know is I blew a "A".......the cop said the breathalyzer he was using tells you either you pas, warning or fail.....I got nailed with an warning.
I juss I cant complian too much, I did juss get a warning and not a fail....oh well....I got to go pick up my car in 4hrs, YAY!
I wonder how much I got to cough up for this one?

I weigh 175, and I drank 2 beers in an hours time, and I juss passed the breathalyer test. From my last sip to the test probably a good 10-15 mins. I was confident I was going to pass, cuz I am a quite heavy drinker and I didnt think I had much and didnt feel it at all. I only drank 2 beers becuase I was being responsible too.....
ahhh well......So, keep in mind you dont have to drink sooo much to get a warning, so becareful out there....I learned my lesson

Whoa, lucky u didn't fail, that would have been worse. But i thought two beers in one hour is not too bad, Ive done it before with confidence, i guess next time it will be one beer. Good luck with getting ur car back.

Even if you fail the cop can use his discretion. I failed a breathalyzer quite badly a long while ago, the cop pulled my license for 12 hours. His reasoning was "you weren't swerving all over the place, and you were pretty nice to me". Then he let me friend who was with me drive my car back (thankfully no tow). Funny enough they tested my friend like 3 times cause he REEKED of booze, and he passed every time. He'd had more to drink than ME. But he wasn't fallin all over either and he blew under, so they let him drive my car back the 4 km to my house. I then paid for his cab home.
Yeah my buddy in Oshawa (pickup driver) got booked large last year got suspended for a year got his license back and his insurance still doesnt know that he got charged the lesson is that if you get caught DON'T cancel your insurance he just kept paying it like normal and everthing is still fine to this day!

a streetcar was on the other side letting passengers on, so i knew no cars were going to go, so i just rolled right through, making a right turn.
i was right by St. Mike's hospital.. going to eaton center, unknowingly, a cop was sitting somewhere behind me.. and i ALWAYs look out for popo.... somehow i didnt see him.
well, he pulled me over... i didnt say why i ran through the lights making a right turn, b/c i knew i did... i just said that i was going to EC to buy a black tie for a funeral i had to go to, *** i think i said that i just wasnt thinking properly??*** ...... well, he came back and gave me a ticket, and i was on my way.
a few months later, it turned out that, the officer didnt even file the ticket he wrote me, so luckily... i got off. maybe he felt bad for me and didnt file it, or he just somehow forgot to file it? ... either way, im glad that he didnt ........... b/c it's hard to fight off a ticket running a red.
best hope is to just hope that the officer doesnt show up, or he somehow screwed up writing up the report.
sicne then, i usually stop completely at each red light.. haha.

hey bro i had exact same ticket as u last year it was at bramelea and north park.. i made a right on red without fully stopping and the ticket say its running a red light... LOL i went to court and only got it reduce to 90 bucks... and no demerit

getting it reduced, is the same as pleading guilty................ correct me if im wrong?
so it's still on your record... so bottom line, ohpe the insurance company doesnt check your record.

Rep Power: 288 why would a cop give me a ticket for amber light? i mean it was like yellow red but i think he felt sorry for me and gave me amber light ticket... but anyways, what am i goin to say in court?
u are still lukcy u didnt get hit with the 1 year suspension. otherwise u will be having so much fun with TTC/GO train and also insurance premium in the future
it doesnt matter how strong a drinker u are, the machine wont lie so never think i can drink X bottles of beer in 2 hours and i will be safe. Beer does make you sleepy and slower your reaction to moving object, etc

so everone, whether is 1 shot or 1 bottle of beer, drinking is drinking...please be responsible and dont blame nobody
