My almost finished Audio-new pics!!!!!!
Well, my car has been in the audio shop now for over a week, and today i went in to take some pics and see the progress. These pics are with the pieces just put in for the pics so i could get an idea what the finished product would look like...

here are some of the box as it will be ported for the subs...then the amp racks, one on each side for the amps and caps will have blue leds inside them...the sides of teh system will be done mainly in blue vinyl but with black at the very top and some grey on the bottom to flow with the interior of my car...

here are 2 pics of the floor painted in BMW M3 blue...it's not set right, it was just put in to get an idea...the subs will be on a bit of an angle facing left and right, down the middle there is a ridge (or spine) to seperate...you can see the break in the darker of the 2 pics....

Actually, to be honest, it's not as expensive as i imagined. Something like this would go for about 3500-4000 for all the work, the battery and all the extras, but i'm thinking it will be in the neighbourhood of 2g's to 2200 max.

I hear ya man, it's not that I don't know how or dono't have designs in mind. I'm just lazy and lately have no time for such an undertaking. It's really the last thing I need before I can consider my car fully show-worthy though, so I really should get on it.

Well i got my car back today, still not completely done though, have to go back and finish up carpeting off the trunk lid and then later on to cover up the rear speaker deck. For importfest i'll have the carpet under the trunk lid...so here are pics of the setup, with a couple night pics. Man does it pound!!!!! And my components up front are great! Super clear and boy can they get loud with the amp. The beginning of the trunk is carpeted off...it's covering up the giant port...these subs move stupid amounts of air. Enjoy!!

^^^ha ha, thanks Telly. I was gonna go simple at first but then decided if i'm gonna get the audio shop to do it, i might as well go a little nuts. Nothing insane, nice and clean that flows with the black, blue and grey theme of my interior.

thanks andy, still have to get the trunk lid covered in carpet, and then make a cover up where the rear deck speakers are. Right now it's all sound deadening up there, gotta get that covered up.
