i know goodyear wants $150 per tire. Go to a tire place called "Active Green and Ross" - I'm not sure if there is a franchise in toronto or not, but they sell cheap here in BUrlington. Or you might want to try just going to a used tire place and finding one in your size....

so it's not all that cheap...for that price you might as well get a better tire!

oh you posted here as well. i guess i should say that i've got 2 stock firestones 185/65/15 with good tread cuz they were my rears ever since i got the car, my fronts will just get you killed cuz they're almost bald. the only problem is that 1 of them has a nail in it therefore needs to be fixed which can be done at crappy tire, wal-mart wont do it cuz they're gay asses. the other tire was punctured by a nail as well but its been fixed and works totally well. let me know if you're interested. i'll give you a good deal but i wont go out to fix the tire since i dont plan on using firestones ever again.
IN the US, all of the local places are way way over priced. Good example... I can order a set of 4 Kumho 712s for under $400 USD including shipping. But the same 4 tires locally at the very best price I could find not including mounting and balancing was almost $200 a tire!
Your best bet is to find a small mom and pop place who has low prices and get the hookup. Ihave a small shop in my town that does flat repairs for $5 and mount/bal for $10 each.

You can try Proparts in Mississauga - 905-569-2202, talk to Mike, tell him Will sent you. He's got pretty good prices on Kumho and several others, but some people are saying nice things about Wanlis, and he got my friend a set of those in 205\40\17 for about 500-ish mounted (Canadian of course).
try SpeedState and ask for Roger. Tell him Ken da fob boy sent you and he will hook you up.

hey ming, i was debating if i should get a set of Wanli or 712 as my next set....so i guess the Wanli ain't that good right?

I can do it for $8 includes new valves, rims cleanned, sealed, mounting and balanced (hammer or tape). Doesn't matter if it's a 13" wheel or 23" wheel-same price.
