well...its end of the month...and police was waiting for some tickets to meet quota...and he was stopped at a stop sign...I pulled over and wait for my friend...then the cop roll over slowing but looked at me and went away...I thought it was fine...but then by the time I drove away...i saw the cop was parked not too far away...I knew that he was waiting for me...and I knew its the sticker thing...but i was in hurry..so i had to give it a try...but bingo...he caught me for that reason...
as for sparta...I wanna go too...but I may be late...I may see you guys down there...

The year written on the ticket is the year of the sticker, not the year of the car.
Dont bother goin to the police station to see if they will drop the charge after you get a new sticker put on. We cant do that. As soon as we get back to the station, the ticket is submitted and sent of to the Provincial court house and at that point its out of our hands.
Like I always say, and ive said this a million times, dont just go ahead and pay the ticket, set a court date. At the court date if the officer shows up plea guilty with an explanation and they will more than likely reduce the fine...so you kinda win there.
If he doesnt show up plea not guilty and that you are ready to proceed with your trial....no cop = no evidence. The onus is on the prosecutor to prove guilt and without the officer there they must withdraw the charge.....no charge = no payment, and it will not be reflected on your drivers abstract.
Eddy.

it does and it doesnt...for minor offences it take 4 tickets to affect insurance (as i understand it)
But if you are on a prefered customer rate, 1 ticket may affect that and bump you into regular client rating.
