Difficulty of installing MOMO steering wheel?!?!?!

For those who have experience in removing and installing an aftermarket steering wheel, I would just like to know how difficult the process is and the approximate time required for install.

Should I do it myself or bring it some where to have it done? Last thing I want is an airbag in my face and no steering wheel.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

you can do it yourself....the airbag will not deploy...only the sensor can trigger it to.....remember to disconnect the battery first.....
the only difficulty you will be running into is how to make the horn button work....
contact vic_lx or smokedcivic for assistance.....

Um yeah... follow the DIY and take off the OE hub... the HORN wire is under the column... and you'll have to modify it so i can touch the copper part of the MOMO hub... BUT remember the wheel has to spin.. so you cant soder or clip it on
I got it done at a shop and the guy explained it to me...
the only problem you'll end up running into is the horn to werk.. so you'r better off getting a shop to do it..
and if not.. good luck...

and ALSO use search .. I posted this exact same topic last week

vicLX: after you got the wheel installed, did the SRS light come on?

OH yeah......ad reseting wont fix it...

so take out the bulb... or cover it with black electrical tape... in my case... the wheel is slightly smaller and block the light so I never see it
